That is all.
But seriously Morrowind is a great great game. The thing is, even though the leveling system is similar its a very DIFFERENT game.
It's not a sequel, and it relies way more on numbers and the computer generating odds (ie. similar to dice rolls) to determine things like spell success (they can fail), whether you hit or not, or whether you block with shield, and things like this.
As long as you can look past the fact that it is from 2001, graphically and game-play wise, and a fair bit slower than oblivion, you will find it has a much superior storyline and atmosphere. Oh, and the reading. SO much reading. If you hate reading, turn back now all ye who dare enter. There is almost no voice acted lines, though this gives NPCs a lot more interesting things to say (non-generic NPCs withstanding). I find myself reading the lines in oblivion and skipping the acting anyways.
I suggest playing with no mods at first, or at least only minor house mods. Looking into how the game works ruins the experience a bit.
Edit: Also I forgot to mention, there is none of this "everyone is the same level as you" nonsense. You walk into the wrong cave, you die. It's wonderful. Much more immersive because you don't have bandits with the most expensive armour, and a lot of caves are full of pre-planned NPCs that don't change no matter what level you are.
