yeah, they're late getting this one out. :[ no idea why though. I want to see more on the Scorp/Sub-Zero thing.
Also, I thought Baraka killed Cage in the teaser (Ep 0). How can Shang Tsung be approaching Johnny if the police haven't talked to him yet? And if they have, then, Johnny should be dead now.

Yeah true.. and I don't like either how they have changed Baraka.. don't get me wrong I am loving the series, but I hate when shit gets changed at the last minute. I don't mind the change really. Most because I've seen the MK movies, and seen what keeping things visually close to the game can do. The director is making this series closer to reality than previous MK movies have been, and I can dig it. For MK, that's different, and it gives it a different flavor. So in terms of Baraka being a major mover in body mods and his arm blades are surgical, I'm okay with.Reptile was my favorite (next to Sub Zero) in MK1 and 3. I'm having a hard time with him outside of his ninja suit. So I can sympathize with where you're coming from.
im more so interested in the supernatural aspect. like shang tsung's powers. i want too know if there are any one else with those kind of abillities. i think its really well done and the characters are... well badass... except for johnny cage... i hope he dies real soon.

I'm still very skeptical of this. Despite Ed Boon and other Netherrealm folks helping in the story, this plays a bit much like the first film in terms of plot and concept.
So my question is, if people hate the first movie yet like this, why would that be? I don't see much difference between the two besides some HD shooting and a darker characterization for Cage, which is kind of off-putting.

Cause the teaser is not Ep 0 and has no canon to the story. It was for a possible movie but instead they made the web show. The last part confused me, why didn't Johnny knock out that guy and then walk away. That would have been much more satisfying ^_^
