Did anyone else think the guy sitting down was going to be Kano?
I did too until I saw the blade on rope, don't worry.

This looks really good, but personally I'm finding this to look more like an extremely good Fan Film, or heck a possibility of it being a tv show.

Well, Anthony Ian Dale has Japanese roots and it does show pretty well.

This clip was made to see if Warner Brothers would produce an R rated MK movie.
By looking at the people's reaction to the clip, I'm almost certain that it would make a lot of money.
Plus, it looks awsome.

I hope they'll make it.

Who kills off johnny cage in the the opening and then shows it in the trailer? the guy who wrote that part should be killed.

But it does look insanely awesome.

There's already a huuuuuuuge thread about this:

Anyway, yes, this looks absolutely awesome. This is the way to go about a remake set in modern times... they changed stuff that simply wouldn't have worked in today's world of cinema. They kept all the awesomeness and left most of the campy elements behind.
If this movie actually gets made you can bet I'll pay good money to see it.
