Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe Review [Updated]

Well, "Brutalities" makes sense. I was wondering how, exactly, they were gonna make the good guys kill as mercilessly as the MK characters.

I loved the captions under the pictures. They were actually kinda funny (especially the Tom Petty reference. I'm FREE FALLIN!!!)

Sad face...kinda sucks that this game blew. In my opinion I think they should make Marvel vs Capcom 3.

And in addition...superman should win all his fights...hes freaking SUPERMAN...he's overpowered. He should be able to kill all the mortal combat characters put together. Hes OP!

I really didn't like the game. The fighting mechanics are too simple (simpler than Deadly Alliance from 2003) and special moves too strong, which results in everyone just throwing super-powers around in online matches.

Really liked Deadly Alliance, after this it just went downhill.

Other than the previously mentioned typos, a great review. I enjoyed the game, but then again, I'm a DC Comics freak. Any fighting game with Batman & Green Lantern, I'm all over.

Okay, so Superman's weakness is magic? Does that mean if I pull a bunny out of my hat I can beat his head in? That's really lame and very nonspecific. But hey, he's gotta have some sort of weakness or he's entirely no fun.

For a fighting game, I actually really really liked this game. It helps to have classic character like Scorpion and Batman in the game to really help you get into it and decide who you like to play as. Also, Mortal Kombat and DC are great as a pair up because they are both genres where the characters have insane special abilities that spice up the gameplay. The aerial combat and close up brawls are really nice, too. The game wasn't particularly enthralling, but it was fun. The story wasn't all that bad either, surprisingly.
