OP: Facility from Goldeneye multiplayer. As a kid, I played this map more times than any other map/level in any game ever. That bathroom was a deathtrap.
Facility all the way. Soon as the music started I knew it was on.It's crazy but I can still hear the sound of the doors opening in time with the music. Played that game waaay too much.

Holy shit... now I suddenly want the Goldeneye OST on my ipod. The music... too much nostalgia!

One of my favorites would have to be Radical Highway, from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. I played the shit out of that stage and sometimes I boot up the ol' Funcube just to play it some more.

City Escape and Crazy Gadget are good stages, too.

Assault on the Control Room from the original Halo. This should have been the sign that all I ever really wanted from Halo was vehicular combat since my favorite thing about that level is the fact that you can skip 2 huge chunks of it, the second chunk being skipped by jumping into a Banshee. It's freaking brilliant and it was where I spent most of my time in Halo: Combat Evolved.

Duke Burger in Duke Nukem 3D/64

The mission for the Black Hand in Oblivion wherein you are locked inside of a mansion and must murder 5 or 6 people without them realizing it's you killing them.

Waluigi's Pinball...or rather, the updated version from Mario Kart 7. Also Wario's Stadium from Mario Kart 64! Finally the baby's track from Double Dash...can't remember what it's called...it's the tiny one...I call it the Green Shell Party Zone.

The opening of Fallout 3.

While I'm not to fond of Killzone 3 due to trashing established mechanics and cannon when it comes to Helghan; I really like the Helghan jungle dispite being on rails like fuck.

I'd second the suicide mission in ME2. I'd argue the game as a whole is extremely addicting. It's the high point of the trilogy for me, only marred by scanning for planets, which breaks up the otherwise perfect pacing.

Maybe I should make a thread about "Games you love that stop mattering to you after a certain chapter/level".
On a related note, I'd argue Mass Effect 3, if you know the flawed ending is coming, the choices aspect of the game becomes really trivial. Stop the genophage? Why does it matter if I do or not, given the ending? Same goes for the geth/quarian conflict. Even who I decide to bone, they're not gonna make it out alive. The game is still fun, but once you know what's coming, the whole decision aspect becomes less important.

I'm going to have to go with an oldie, but goodie.

Ice Cap Zone Act 1 & 2 in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (& Knuckles).

Sonic 3 was the first and only title in the Classic Sonic franchise to provide a save feature and multiple files for you many adventures in Angel Island. Once you completed the game once with that file, you were free to play any level you desired with saved lives and any Chaos Emeralds you scored along the way.

The first stage I always wanted to revisit was Ice Cap Zone. Everything about this stage, from the music to the snowboarding intro, was definitely the highlight of the entire game and one of the best stages in the entire series (among greats like Green Hill Zone, Death Egg Zone, and Doomsday Zone). I easily racked up 100+ lives on this one stage alone.

Except the RAY fight was too easy. Awesome to watch and play yeah, but it didn't have the same thrill of Armstrong.

What a thrill...

Sonic Generations - Roof Top Run ? it?s just such an exhilarating experience to play that level due to the lush bright visuals, That it lends itself to going warp speed and that beautiful upbeat whimsical music. It makes me smile every time.

You Better Watch Out ? Hitman Blood Money: An elegant party level, beautiful women, Christmas. Great music. Everything I could want. (I?m really really a sucker for elegant party levels in stealth games.)

Something action-y... probably Area 6 in Star Fox 64.

Andross has put his entire fleet out on alert to prevent the inevitable attack on his home planet Venom after his ambush in Sector Z failed to take you out, including numerous very Star Destroyer inspired vessels. So with the Great Fox's powerful lasers at your back you tear through it, one ship and battle station at a time as the enemy commanders become increasingly desperate and terrified of you the closer you get to Venom.

'These guys are crazy!'

By far the most target-rich environment in the game (300 is the Medal score, but with Hyper Laser, 9 Bombs and good planning you can rack up 550+), and one I enjoy trying to beat my high score on to this day. I've never been able to destroy EVERYTHING in the stage, but I do believe it's possible. Great music, great visuals, and probably one of the hardest stages if you get killed and stripped of all your powerups. Expert mode just adds even more fodder for your lasers.

'Dang! DEPLOY IT NOW!'

'It' is a tentacled space biomechaniloid which has a rainbow-coloured super laser that chases you . Excellent.

Every level in Odama... especially the final level and it's "hidden secret"...

Other than that... Most of the levels in Sonic Generations... Gotta go BOAST!

Wow, thanks for the shout out.

I've got a lot of levels to think of:

The Museum level from Arkham City was brilliantly paced, adding a ton of verity, and had Batman beating up a Shack

Chapter 4: The Patriot for Killzone: Shadow Fall was pretty damn entertaining to replay

Any open level for the God of War Games are so epic and immersive that make me always feel like a bad-ass doing it

The Jubileus level in Bayonetta.
I've spent so many hours playing that fight over and over. It's just awesome.

I tend to find myself replaying The Guardian of Time from Serious Sam 3: BFE over and over and over again.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqwJRYAxVAE

Aside from that drawn out open area bit with the major biomechanoids, witch brides, technopolips, arachnoid hatchlings, and those spidery-crabby things, it's total bliss.

Professor Genkis Super Ethical Reality Climax from Saints Row the third. Between the insane premise (japanese game show in which you have to shot mascots trying to kill you while also hitting power-up pop ups but have to avoid shooting the "unethical" panda pop ups), the fast paced gameplay, the addicting music [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMbLI81QXFk] and the hilarious conversations of the announcers the S.E.R.C was an instant hit with me. I was sad to see that it didn't return for Saints Row IV.
