Sorry mate, 1/10 for spelling and grammar! For the question I'd say World of Warcraft. I have no intention of playing it, but judging from how obsessed some people get with it, I just have to nominate that.

Guild wars has had plenty of content additions I think.

If you mean addictive then none, it's all down to the individual.

They're all so similar, I couldn't come up with an answer. The only ones that seemed to stand up were Guild Wars and Ragnarok. Guild Wars for no health pots and the armor and weapons being pretty much not more than a nice bonus, nothing mandatory. Ragnarok for being incredibly balanced.

First of too true...
Secondly I think its just because WoW has more players then your average MMORPG.

It's WOW, no question.
I've had that monkey off my back for over a year now but sometimes, when I close my eyes, I can still see teh epic raids.

Spelling, grammar, punctuation... I cannot stress this enough.

No game is addictive, people just don't know how to manage their time.

Like some have already said,
getting Addicted to a game is based on Player like and dislikes.
And just because WoW has more player does not mean it's more Addictive, it just fits more player styles.

I want to know, what do you guys think is the most addictive MMORPG?
Fixed.

And it depends on the person indeed! I personally couldn't get into WoW, but I've been playing EVE for years.

Depends on the person really. Im a huge Tolkien fan, so I lost a summer to Lord of the Rings Online. Depends on your interests.

I don't think there is a "most addictive game". It's just a matter of taste combined with an addictive personality. I for one, as much as I love vast worlds like those in WoW, fun PvP like in Warhammer or universe like in LOTRO, can't hang on to any game for more than a few days. Simply put, I get bored fast, I can't get addicted, I have to force myself to play any MMO for a longer time.

I would say any successful MMO is very addictive. The very premise is to hook people with days upon days of playtime, stealing their lives and money away from them.

no spelling error additive-?noun
1. something that is added, as one substance to another, to alter or improve the general quality or to counteract undesirable properties: an additive that thins paint.

Excuse me as I head my head in shame but, I use to be addicted to Maple Story. I was more addicted to the social aspect than the actual game play. I happily kicked that addiction last year. I've saved a ton from not buying NX for it. I won't come close to that game with a 10 foot pole. Unless it's a private server... Then maayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyybe. But, I got so bored of it after years of it.

Yes but my point was more that because it has so many more players, it is bound to have so many more die hard fans, as it does with critics.
