Most annoying characters ever awards

Apart from Vanille, who else just really made you want to smash the screen, and no, not because they were impossible to beat, but because they had an annoying voice, talked too much, got your main character into trouble all the time, looked stupid...yeah you get the idea.

I'd say for me it would probably be... well, any NPC who got in my way when I was frustrated. Dr. Freeman's Private Door-Blocking Brigade stand out in my mind as among the worst for this, though.

Does it have to be 3d games? Because I have a deep seated hatred of Hector from Riviera the Promised Land..guy is SMUG! And if I have to say a 3d game..then Alyx Vance...Oh sure! I'll like you when you freak me out and make me waste Ammo! Sure! I'll just let you chatter on and on while I can't do anything but freak out and yell for you to shut up...And for a game I've actually played..Kairi from Kingdom Heart's. ***** is annoying, bland, boring, unattractive, useless, and worse I CAN'T do anything as a character to kill her....At least Hector is a guy you can kill, and at least Alyx Vance is in only one game really...But KAIRI! Oh boy, she's the central plot element of Kingdom Heart's, and you HAVE to put up with her....best games of the series are the one's that don't have her talking...as of yet? That's still only Kingdom Heart's 358/days and Birth By Sleep. At least those two games give us the cute as hell Xion and the incredibly hot Aqua to have fun with.

hated him, and his this isn't right attitude. He was so annoying to me. I know others like him but I just can't see it

I wished I was able to kill him during the dark side ending but no he runs away in to the jungle, lame.

for me it has to be:

-slippy (i would just let him die every time on starfox for being so dam annoying)
-navi ("HEY!" got annoying fast but the rest of the amazing game more than made up for it)
-jack marston (i stopped playing when *spoiler* you became him)
-Kaiden from ME1 (i killed him on every play through and even my paragon was a dick to him)

Majority of NPCs in Fallout 3 but I have to say that one kid from "little lamplight" (sticky was his name i think) I hated him a lot and was glad to see him die from the mine I planted in his pathway.

*laughs!* which one was that? Was it their leader? He was kind of annoying huh
