Now that I've thought about it a bit more...lawyer commercials. Especially Jim FUCKING Sokolove. It's gotten to the point where I actually scream at the television whenever one of those comes on...though that's more because I tend to be a bit of a Grammar Nazi and when I hear somebody say "I was in an accident and got hurt real bad," I immediately snap, "REALLY BADLY, YOU MORON!"
Essentially every one of the lawyer ads pretty much boils down to the following: "If you're inconvenienced in any way through your own stupidity, it's probably not really your fault, but actually because of negligence on the part of some large, powerful corporation with lots of disposable cash. If you catch our drift, wink wink nudge nudge say no more."
Oh yeah, and the 8 zillion or so designer-drug "ask your doctor about" commercials...shouldn't your doctor be the one to know about medications that might benefit you?!? And let's not mention that the original Claritin commercials told you to "ask your doctor about Claritin" and NEVER EVEN DESCRIBED WHAT THE DAMN STUFF DID!!!
