RE5 as a whole i would say is pretty fun. It completly shit all over the RE franchise and then forcefed its crap to us who bought it, but as far as entertainment value it was enjoyable.

As for most annoying game. Any Mortal Kombat that came out after mortal kombat trilogy for the playstation. No fucking deadly alliance shit, no armagedon, no fucking vs dc shit. they shoulda just stopped.

It is. But when you do finally beat a level you feel on top of the world.
yeah, raises that same point again, the fine line between challenge and frustration, challenges reward you when you beat them, frustrations just piss you off no matter what

Two really high-profile games that annoyed me are:

Assassin's Creed. The women beggars to be specific. They are actually what I remember first when I think of my hatred for that game.

Splinter Cell. I first played Splinter Cell on an XBox that I borrowed. I hated the game because every time I died, or got spotted by the wrong person, I had to go waaaay back to a checkpoint, watch cutscenes, and redo stealth sections (stealth is not as fun the fifth time through). I was sooooo annoyed with the game. I eventually got the game for my PC, and it's now one of my favourite series of all time. QUICKSAVE!!! Boosh! That game is only enjoyable if you can save just before an annoying re-try part.

But while it is frustrating, the game is fair, so it's not trying to cheat you or anything.
