Marlboro in Final Fantasy X.
I'll one-up you on that.

In FF Tactics A2, There's a quest where they tell you to kill a specific type of girl Marlboro that can not only cast a spell which heals, grants regen, and buffs defense and resistance in a target area, but can also cast a spell which causes all enemies in a target area to be charmed.

The kicker?

They want you to kill SIX.

You could only watch in fury, gnawing on a pillow, as your incredibly powerful characters ripped themselves to shreds and any unit you DID gain control of had its attacks weakened and instantly healed over because those cretins kept on healing each other and NEVER LEFT THE DAMN GROUP.

Marlboros are infamously annoying, but you can stock up on remedies as a just in case, but when you completely lose all power over the situation? THAT is rage.

1. Demyx in Kingdom Hearts 2. (It took me FOREVER to beat that guy!)
2. Cliff Racers in Morrowind. (They're EVERYWHERE!!!!!)
3. The Guards in Oblivion. (They always block my attacks and it makes me less inclined to steal stuff...)
4. The Flood in the Halo games.
5. Also from Halo, those guys that have armor everywhere but their backs, and that's where you have to shoot them.

Yep, a good number of the aforementioned enemies can be found under these, 'That One Boss' or 'That One Mook' (mook=regular enemy). Recently discovered that site, good for a few reminicenses.

Everyone always talks about Demyx and Xaldin in Kingdom Hearts 2, but oddly I've never seen a screed against Berserker Nobodies (and to a lesser degree, their master Saix). Perhaps most noticable in your first encounter with them, once they shrink (?) it is all you can do to fend off their barrage of attacks, particularly if there's more than one (and there usually is). Their final overhead cleave before reverting to normal size is unguardable and unavoidable without Glide... then you have 2.5 seconds after that to combo their sword out of their hands, grab it and hit them with it before the entire process starts up AGAIN. Their regular stomp attack isn't too shabby either.

Eww, thinking of what a FEMALE marlboro would look like *shudder*

Oh and what about the Trickster mark from FFXII, firt time i tryed taking it on i got my ass handed to me by its bloody Choco-comet, and the paling that blocked physical attacks was just overkill. BUT I tried fighting it again ten levels later and it was still pretty tough but managed to kill him by using Drain, non elemental magic that wasnt affected by his Shift ability.

Deathclaws. wtf were they before the fallout? Demons?
Exactly.Same with "Giant" Radscorpions. They're already giant!
Also, what explains the fire ants?
Deathclaws = Experimental creations. They weren't mutations.

Fire ants = Regular giant ants. There's a quest that explains their origins. The quest is called 'Those!', and you can start it outside the Super Duper Mart near Megaton. :)
After I posted, I felt like playing FO3. Then I finished that quest, but still, how did they end up breathing fire? The scientist's explanation makes sense at first, but after some thought......

Morrowind's deity-damned cliff racers. They wouldn't have been so annoying if the designers hadn't screwed up the hitbox. As an archer I'd have loved to turn them all into pincushions, but the arrows just passed through the damn things.

By the way, TVTropes has a page [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GoddamnedBats] about this.

The fights with that one boss were terrible, but correct me due to my terrible, narcolepsy induced amnesia, but, which of her attacks were unblockable? I know she liked status changing (a lot) but there's not really much she can do if you press and hold block
but then again i was awake till five last night, so correct me if I'm wrong.+

FFX, those huge purple troll looking things near the end of the game that cast meteor or something when you kill them, it took ages to kill it then AFTER IT WAS DEAD it kills all of my guys with a huge rock from space. fuck that said I.. and it was the last time I played FFX

kantus monks in GoW2, its bad enough that they revive downed enemies but their most bullshit ability is when they dodge boomshots/snipers/torque arrows by leaping out the way, even though the shot ALREADY HIT THEM

The Devil may cry series has several candidates for this award: teleporting electric dudes that are immune to your sword until their electricity turns off, those things that come up from underground and teleport you to a arena full of enemies if they catch you.. the list continues

Laser blades and Assault Armor, that's what I used...so cheap.

Anywho, here's my list.

Metroids - From Metroid Prime and Prime Two: Echoes Those bastards...always latchin' onto my face...

Sinow Zoas and Zeles - From Phantasy Star Online Episode one and two "Shit! Relfection spot-HAIIGHEE!!" *HP halved*

Delbiters - Also From Phantasy Star Online Episode one and two "Sweet Jesus begorra!" (Entire groups could be wiped out by a single Delbiter)
