I hate it in CoD4 when a server is really packed and every time you spawn you pop into existence on top of a grenade... I've been playing fairly large maps where I've spawned multiple times in a row into instant death from grenades, airstrikes, random bullets in hardcore mode, TK's, you name it I've died from it instantly.

I remember Playing Judas. It wouldn't have been so bad if the Dragon-class fighter they had given you had handled closer to the original. But just about any escort mission in Descent Freespace was annoying. The turrets couldn't shoot down bombs well if at all, making the missions a lesson in babysitting. Fortunately, Freespace 2 corrected that.

I was playing through KOTOR 2 again as an evil character. I got to the part where you go to Dantooine to meet with the remaining Jedi Masters. The game went to a cutscene when I entered the old Jedi temple...and the screen just stayed there. I mean, there was grass swaying in the background and music, but nothing would happen! I think maybe because I had killed all the masters up to that point, there was no one to be in the scene, but I would think the developers/programmers would not have missed something like that. I have not played that game since. I guess crime really doesn't pay-ha ha on me.

The Four Horsemen level in Ace Combat 5 was just plain obnoxious. It's a mission where you and your wingmen have to take out a series of radar installations grouped together all at the same time to avoid tripping the alarm and then take out a base afterwards. It all comes to timing as the radar installations all have to be take out simultaneously or you fail the mission. Sometimes your wingmen mess up and it's just generally an irratating mission.

The thing that makes it worse is that you have to do it to unlock one of the better fighters in the game.

KSing in MapleStory, pisses me off everytime and there's absolutely nothing I can do about it, so once I ended up sitting in the room killing monsters as someone KSed me for about two hours.

For the netcronym impaired, that's Kill Stealing, looks and sounds oddly like Kissing. And now that I have that in mind, my previous statements strike me as disturbing.
Um why not just cc?

Playing games on my PC and the blue screen of death just randomly appears. Always find that annoying.
I had that with my friends Mega Drive, it just died on us, I had that intense momemtary panic you get if you get your fingers stuck in something, like a milk bottle.

Was trying to get the survive for 7 days achievement in Dead Rising in the game mode where you can't save or quit. Now 7 days is something like 12 hours and with 10min real time left to go my game froze on a loading screen. That was a day down the drain.

In StarCraft when the map is listed as "NR20" and I obey the rule, but some jackass either doesn't know what that means or just disregards it. I could disregard it too and pull the Zerg rush, but I don't. Just find a map that isn't no rush.

You know the Haunted House right? Well, there's no CC option at Voodoos and Hoodoos, every channel is full, and the rooms are only big enough for one person or three people with a bishop.
You my friend are correct. my bad.

Playing Fallout 3, and my PC just says "FUCK YOU" and it crashes for no apparent reason as I'm hiking through the Capitol Wasteland.
i hate it when that happens, and cause youve been outdoors for ages, no recent autosaves to fall back on. happened to me on the 360 few times,
That's when I learned to quicksave a lot. Every time I do anything remotely important, I press F5.
Me too, I love it, but I'm assuming these poor souls are unfortunately under-equipped if they have a console version.

That said, there have been MANY annoying things that happened to me in a game, but I really can't think of a "most annoying" aside from how stupid people are, or a purchase being a mistake, but I don't have a worst for those either, and some of my problems aren't really in-game (friend overwrites save files, say) so I'll stick to single-player for now:

Probably when I was attempting supaplex level 111 -yet again- and I managed to screw up a quick-reflex movement very close to the end, making the level unsolvable because I didn't time my movement right.

Agreed!
I found the trick with Playing Judas is to turn off your sub-system targeting. Makes it easier to scan the enemy ships since you don't have to zero in on the subsystem to get tone. But it doesn't change the fact that insta-fail stealth missions in ANY game are a massive ball-ache. (Yes, even Goldeneye.)

I'd say the worst thing for me would be getting to the end of the Tow Truck diversion on Saints Row 2 with my tow truck not even smoking then having the police ram me in such a way I miss my turn, clip a curb and roll the blasted truck on it's roof all of about 100 feet from the garage. Several billion attempts later I succeed in the blasted challenge but I'll never forget how close that marker was.

Gets close to beating Abe's Odysee on the PS1 and not having a memory card to save it.. right near the end and the game just stops between screens and I sit there doing all I can to make this little grey block load.

4th job ice lightning mage sitting around in sleepywood. Would have been awesome had he let me join his party but he was afk with something strapped over the key that fired blizzard.
