Most anticipated game of 2012?

In order of priority:
Diablo 3
Dota 2
Prototype 2
Borderlands 2
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

And, that's about it for confirmed titles. Off the top of my head, that is. I could add more, like a finalized release of Project Zomboid or speculative titles like Hawken, but...well....it'd be based purely on speculation. Plus, I'm feeling lazy and can't be bothered to check a "list".

And no. I have literally zero interest in ME3 and I'm only tentatively interested in Bioshock Infinite. As finely crafted and atmospheric as the original Bioshock was, the gameplay was a major let down for me. So I'm waiting to see if any of my complaints will be addressed in Infinite before I begin to be "excited" for it. I sincerely hope that they are.

If I recall correctly, it's slated as a tentative December 31, 2011, but that's just the default date they attach to any game that's not been officially slated for a release date and could slip into the next year. So in reality, it'll probably hit next year. Diablo 3 effectively has it's release date set at Dec. 31 of this year, so... The beta of Dota 2 will likely hit this year though.

However, thanks for reminding me about CS: GO. I will thusly amend my list.

Well, ME3 is fairly high up on the list for me next year, along with Transformers: War for Cybertron's true sequel which has been in development since the first game launched a couple of years ago. The last movie tie in was done hastily during that period, but from what I've read development on WFC2 never stopped during the last 2 years.

Mass Effect 3, Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm and Diablo 3. Although I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that last one to come out in 2011.

Uhhhh, 2012... too many awesome titles coming out before the year is over to give you a sure answer off the top of my head. I guess I'll go with Far Cry 3, if Ubisoft does with FC3 what it did with AC2, the game's gonna be fantastic. And from what I've seen of the game, it definitely seems to be heading in the right direction.

Also, another chance to sneak around the bushes in an open world with a sniper that can cripple&lure targets? Fuck yeah

Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm and The Last Guardian more than anything. I guess I would be excited for Bioshock Infinite as well if I hadn't seen the demo and noticed THE 2-WEAPON LIMIT. That's bullshit. I'm reserving my excitement for that game now.

The upcoming games I'm mainly looking forward to - and have already preordered - are the Team ICO collection and Arkham City, but they're both 2011.

I'm interested in the Tomb Raider reboot pretty much just because I like the series, but all the info we have is a cinematic trailer and a couple screens, so for all we know it'll be crap. (I just hope the last tomb raider cameraman died and they got a new one)
