Most Anticipated Game

The only game that set me alight was Fallout 3.

I would really like it if they made a proper sequel to Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Wind Waker was ok but not what I'm looking for.

Gotta say there's actually 5 games I'm really anticipating, though admittedly one of them has had very little info revealed and another has been merely hinted at. Anyway, they are as follows:
1. Left 4 Dead - An online, zombie themed, co-op game being developed by Valve. There's nothing in that sentence I don't like
2. Spore - It would seem that Maxis may have finally redeemed themselves, what with their rather lack-luster games in recent times
3. Mirror's Edge - Could be the new "Portal". As in, based on concept could be insanely fun and revolutionary or complete waste of code. Time will tell.
4. Portal 2 - I know nothing concrete, but they've already said, "More Portal is coming".
5. Half-Life 2: Episode 3 - A long way off I'm sure, but damn if the end of Ep. 2 didn't make me want this sequel even more.

Honorable mention: I have to say I find the idea behind Little Big Planet intriguing. Kind of like a mix of Garry's Mod and Ragdoll Kung Fu (not surprising, as LBP is created by the same guy that made RDKF). So, seeing as I own and loved both of those and there's proof of concept behind both, LBP could be extraordinarily fun. Too bad it had to be a PS3 exclusive. Kind of makes it loses some of it's appeal for me.

I am a huge horror fan, so the game I am most looking forward to is Dead Space. I have high hopes for this game. Especially considering the amount of pre-story they are putting into it.

That is the one I am really looking forward to, but I will be getting Gears 2, RE5, Force Unleashed.

SPORE!!!! It is going to be the best simulation game EVER! No! its going to be the best game EVER, period! Its the next big step in gaming because people actually get to play whatever creature they want and there is no linear storyline you have to follow you can be a pack carnivore an independant carnivore a herd herbivore an individual carnivore but you can also be an omnivore and no two creature will look the same, i personally think that creature, tribe and space phase will be the best and cell looks quite cool too. Its cool that u make your own vehicles, planes, ships, spaceships and buildings and its all shared on the net so no two games will be the same.

The 360's line up is looking so strong at the moment, there's loads to choose from: GoW 2, Fable 2, Fallout 3, Pro Evo 2009, etc.

A lot of sequels, or series continuations, but there'll be plenty of original games too. such as Left 4 Dead, Velvet Assassin, Project Origin and Mirror's Edge.

No... Valve needs to. They're the publisher, they handle marketing, marketing is how people hear about games. Just because someone purchases a console and reads Edge once in a while doesn't mean they should be searching the net for poorly advertised games that are supposed to be good.

Either they are snoozing a bit at the switch, can't afford a media blitz at this point (which is entirely possible, ads are expensive), or are only focusing on marketing to a smaller niche component of the market (this is one of the biggest marketing strategies being used by game companies right now, drop a couple of screen caps and a video trailer on a couple game news sites and let the forum posters do the rest)

Valve should be paying you guys.

To answer the thread question there is actually no game being developed right now that I know of that is tickling my fancy. Final Fantasy XIII I am curious about, but even that is fairly "whatever" orientated in my mind.
