fallout 4 to make up for the failure that was new vegas
Funny because for me it's the complete opposite. I can't wait for Bethesda to anounce that Obsidian are making the next Fallout to make up for the utter atrocity that was F3, it was so bad that we need tow new great Fallout games to make up for it.

OT: Dynasty Tactics 3.

I just know that secretly Koei have been developing this game for more than 8 years.

The next Dawn of War 2 expansion/Dawn of War 3; I've been playing that a lot recently and really enjoying it.
On a similar note; Company of Heroes 2 (hopefully)
Age of Empires 4; come on Microsoft, its long overdue.
KOTOR 3, when LucasArts are no longer afraid of massive profits and unrivalled success; I just don't think an MMO was a great idea for that part of the franchise, especially how much has been spent on its development so far; if it doesn't succeed, a lot of heads will roll.

GTAV by a bazillion miles. GTAIV still remains the only fully satisfying singleplayer game this generation. Along with it's DLCs it is the most complete entertainment package that gaming has ever offered.

RDR and LA Noire are not on the same level. Things like radio stations being absent are hugely significant and the settings/eras are just not as relatable and fun and engaging as modern liberty city. Driving in LA Noire is boring. Driving in GTAIV is fun and has all sorts of variety from races, stunt jumps and significant speed and interesting track design. Riding a horse in RDR is practically a passive experience. There's only 2 races in the game and they're not engaging.

GTAIV had more significant narrative choices though it still pales compared to RPGs, it is the most difficult thing in game design. What makes GTAIV stand out most of all is it's cultural significance. It's just a massive cultural work, no other game comes close to the variety of media. The in-game web alone dwarfs other full games in terms of content quantity & quality. It's the most living world in gaming.

I fully expect GTAV to be a more mindless fun game and that's really sad. There was a huge backlash against the serious tone of gtaiv that was somewhat incongruous with the necessitation of being a serial killer for gameplay to be engaging, that I feel was selfish and undeserved. There are plenty of "fun" games to sate those who desire them, those of us who want something more have little for us.

It's my dream that the next one will be even more meaningful and more of an RPG. I want conversations and narrative choices and I want it to be more of a microcosm of real-life. RDR was quite unusual for exploring having a family of your own in a game, and I think that's one reason it stood out from GTAIV. GTAV should let you have a child. If a male character you should be able to get a female pregnant through a dating website or any other realistic, adopt or even steal a baby. If a female you should be able to impregnate yourself through any realistic means, even rape. If it implemented that ability fully and meaningfully I believe it could be the moment games become the ultimate medium. At the minute what is missing is relatability to the world and characters because of a lack of humanity and this would bring that.

GTA V
Rome 2: Total War

Super duper unlikely:
A new Naughty Dog developed Jak & Daxter
A third Banjo-Kazooie that doesn't involve building vehicles

Age of Empires 4; come on Microsoft, its long overdue.
Have you heard of Age of Empires Online? It's developed by ex-Ensemble Studios folk and features TF2-esque stylised graphics. Can't wait for it.

Ezio = chick magnet.

I swear every female gamer i know practically wet themselves at the mere mention of Ezio. It is actually kind of bizarre.
Well, uh, here's one that doesn't. Ezio's one of those characters who just kind of gets on my nerves. Bad Italian accents just don't do much for me.

I think Fallout 4, still more to see from the post Apocalypse I feel, hopefully Bethesda work on it personally, like they did with FO3, but not New Vegas. It could expand past America, or go to somewhere like NYC. Hopefully it will be worked on after Skyrim is finished(another game I'm really excited for)

Blade Kitten 2.

The game has been finished, but Atari hasn't decided if it'd be worth releasing yet.

A Legend of Dragoon sequel......What, a guy can dream.
Yes he can... Yes he can.
Apart from that, another vote for Assassin's Creed: Ezio-less. And Crysis 3 would be nice. Hopefully it fills in the events between Crysis 1 and 2.
Oh, and another Mount & Blade, hopefully better than Warband this time.
Of course Half Life 3. I have a suspicion it won't be Episode 3, just Half Life 3. Of course, that means we'll be waiting until like 2016 for it, but still... Worth it.

want new thief
In due time... I've been excited since they announced it, but have gotten nothing more than a screenshot to quench my thirst for a new Thief game.

I'm waiting for a new Legacy of Kain. It would make my life complete.
