Bethesda seems to be notorious for unsatisfying endings...I mean,
Dagoth Ur just kind of stands there while you whack the Heart of Lorkhan. At least Almalexia put up a fight in Tribunal.
Or...
To quote my ex-wife, "You mean the ending is an escort mission and a cutscene? You don't get to kill that big red thing?"
And...
The crazy thing is that you can Talk the Monster To Death not once, but TWICE! Eden AND Autumn! And before Broken Steel came out, that was it, game over, thanks for playing, should we steal your ten bucks now or just wait until we're done with the DLC?
Despite this, all three games are in my all-time favorite top ten.
Wow, I got SimuLord to comment. I'm very slightly honored.

OT: Should've mentioned Oblivion, really...got even worse for me when I discovered that the decision wasn't even an abrupt turnaround--Dagon has no death animations. There wasn't ever a point when the idea of "hey, let's let the player have a go at being significant for once" crossed the minds of the dev team. One more reason why I prefer Shivering Isles.

Ummmmm im going to go with the ending of Spore. Well technically the game has no end but its the final objective. Its the guy at the centre of the universe. I mean seriously? I travelled all the way for THAT?!
I know, right. All that work and that's the best ending they could come up with? I traveled to Sol expecting that maybe the center of the Universe was just the beginning of an epic adventure or something, but no. That was it. F*** you Maxis. (Flotilla had a better story and combat, but it only cost me $10.
Dont even get me started on that. I went there expecting to find maybe theyd have a human style society there as a parody type thing. The place was bloody empty and I was like "So I have to make humans now to?"
I'm surprised I played as long as I did. The only reason I even made it to the center was because of a wormhole. *At least earth had some pink spice, I needed more floor cleaner.*
The only reason I made it to the center was because I rushed it. If you get a load of cash and some colonys you can make a line of colonies towards the centre dropping one when you need repairs or more colonies. I got to the centre pretty quickly and the grox never attack my built up colonies anymore because theyre too busy mopping up the relay ones I left

I never thought of that. Eventually I made a game where I befriended the Grox. Instant war with everyone I met. The entire map lit up with beacons, but I just built a couple stations in the center and called it a day. (One of the planets terraformed on its own and created a civilization, right next to the Quasar, and the Grox didn't do anything about it!

And I didn't even take a potshot at you. You get a gold star.
Well, now I just might have to upgrade to very slightly honored. A gold star from an almost-staff-type...who'da thunk it?

Ahem...OT again:

Titan quest: Big climactic fight, you just barely kill the titan. And then:
Jack all
Agreed. Same damn thing happens in the Immortal Throne expansion, too...big ol' fight, followed by
a monologue from some divine tart. Grrreat...you at least could've made me the new God of the Dead, y'know?

Mine would have to be the "final" showdown between you and Colonel Autumn in the purifier...the option to talk him into leaving, plus his ridiculous easiness even on Very Hard, ruined any kind of climactic feel the scene was supposed to convey.
More like the ending entirely... I mean, I realize there wasn't much of a build-up while playing through the game (especially if you ignored most of the side quests), but still, I expect a lot more to any ending of any game.

Also, Oblivion and Borderlands

But even so, I have spent countless hours playing Oblivion and Fallout 3, I just can't help myself.

OP got the huge one I think. They really fucked that up, but at least they fixed the ending issue... boss fight was still pathetic tho. The Super Mutant Behemoth would have been a better climax, the one in GNR studio with its epic entrance.

Other than that, Im also going to say Borderlands. Lack of Plot aside, that epic assault on the Vault, dimensional monster, went in with four decently powerful people, with slightly bettert han average weapons, and tore that thing apart.

Ending aside, I still think the F3, including all DLC but Anchorage and Zeta was the single greatest game IVe ever played.

The ending to Fable 2 definitly. I just felt robbed with that final boss and to even call him a boss seems kinda messed up in my eyes.

Sad to say but Batman: AA, i enjoy the joker in it and all but he didnt even really do anything but stay up on the platform and jump down every so often to punch the air. I found Killer Croc more climactic cause he was like this huge monster that you didnt know when he would attack next

Conker's Bad Fur Day, but that was intentional, so I guess it doesn't count...
That STILL goes down in history as one of the saddest moments of gaming in my life.

Farcry 2. Seriously. It sucks
You go in a building full of people and kill them all, then YOU die. It's crap.

Um... I have to say that Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands came out today, and NO ONE NOTICED.

When I bought it this morning, it was shoved in the back of he store where it would easily be overlooked unless you were actually looking for it. And I've seen or heard nothing about it since...

Maybe I'm being a little whinny, but It's part of my favorite series! And the game itself is actually pretty good! (even though my feelings for Ubisoft and Sony are... well, less that good.)

Allow me to provide an abridged transcript of my experience with Dark Void:

Level One: Ugh. What am I playing? This is just Uncharted with crappier guns and dialogue.
Level Two: Yay. Talking. Foreshadowing. Lousy acting. Historical figure cameo for no real reason.
Levels Three-Five: Umm-hmm. Shooting, blah blah blah-ing, more shooting, jumping...what a rip.
Levels Six-Eleven: FUCK YEAH, JETPACK! THIS IS TOTALLY BOSS!
Level Twelve: What the...they took my jetpack. Back to the boring stuff, I guess.
Level Thirteen: FUCK YEAH, JETPACK! AND A THREE-HEADED DRAGON! FUCKING AWESOME! END CREDITS! ...Wait, what?

Frankly, it's still a fun game, but does the ending to Pokemon Gold and Silver (or heartgold and soulsilver) feel anti-climactic to you?

You meet red. Sweet!
You fight red. Awesome!
He never says anything... Okay, cool.
And as soon as the fight ends, credits... Wait... What? That's it?

My most anticlimatic moment? 45 minutes into installing GTAIV on my PC when I decided I was too old for this shit and pulled the plug.

Right now, the end of FFXIII. I want closure!!!! What you gave me is not closure, that's "We're here, role credits." Argh!

Before that, FFVII bugged me, but they fixed that with Advent Children.

Mirror's Edge also comes to mind, although when I finally beat it (without firing a shot, mind you) I was so happy to be done I didn't realize I had just been ripped off.
