As usual, the jRPGs in general.
I seriously need to hurry up and make a Xenoblade Chronicles pre-order at Gamestop.

The fact that I have no idea how good or bad it will end up being is why I'm so eager for it's arrival. Usually, I have a pretty good idea of how video games will turn out a while before they are released. I will probably get Bioshock when it comes out. I will probably get Mass Effect 3. Hell, I might even get Far Cry 3 if the right people say the right things about it. However, they'll probably fade out of my mind until a few days before their release. Dishonored has me actively intrigued. 2012 will not be a good year for the greatest genre - RPG, IMO. Only a few coming out worth mentioning. But it's a good year for third person games. And I guess one of them is a hybrid RPG/TPS (Mass Effect 3). So:
Mass Effect 3, Assassin's Creed 3, Max Payne 3, GTA 5 are on my list of most anticipated games. Skyrim DLC as well. It has to happen in 2012. It wouldn't make any sense for DLC to take a whole year to make.
There are more games but these are the ones I'm definitely getting.
I would have put Hitman: Absolution there as well, but luckily developers made the decision for me when they said how they won't be dictated by the fans, and then they didn't get David Bateson to do the voice even though he was available. They actually didn't answer his calls or his e-mails. Total lack of respect for the man and the fans.
I don't like the look of new Bioshock at all. Voiced protagonist and a girlfriend companion. Also the city looks shitty and soulless as well. It looks as if they didn't know what to make so they just came up with the most ridiculous crap they could think of and called it Bioshock in order to cut the marketing cost.

Sly 4 is for sure my #1 most anticipated game. Journey is also up there too.
On the collections front, there's Jak and Daxter though I might not get it right away.
