Personally, I think the most awesome dinosaur is the pterodactyl Tyrannosaurus in an F-14. DEATH FROM THE SKY, FUCKAS!

Sadly, I would have to say the t-rex. It's just so badass. The velociraptor and megalodon are close behind, though.

Call me old fashioned, but a good old velociraptor is good for me. (although there was one dinosaur that I saw on walking with dinosaurs that looked like a raptor, but had these pop up quill things on the back of its head, but I can't remember what its called so meh).

Tyrrannosaurs, particularly tyrannosaurs of the "In F-14s" variety.

Yeah.

EDIT: Oh damn, I spent too long. It's still awesome....

This is the most awesome dinosaur ever.

Indeed! Truely nothing can beat this. Also that it's Calvin & Hobbes, and really.. there's no beating that.

I'm a big fan of the Megalodon, although I guess it's not really listed as a dinosaur but rather as a shark.

[/spoiler]

I'm glad you asked.

"The megalodon, (Carcharodon megalodon or Carcharocles megalodon) "big tooth" in Greek, was a giant shark that lived in the prehistoric times during the late Oligocene epoch and Neogene period, approximately 25 to 1.5 million years ago, and was a super-predator.

It was by far the largest and most powerful fish of its time. Maximum size is theorized by experts to be around 20.3 metres (67 ft) in length and 103 metric tons (114 short tons) in weight, making it the largest shark in vertebrate history and also one of the biggest hyper-carnivorous predators ever known. From scrutiny of its remains, scientists conclude that C. megalodon belongs to the order Lamniformes but its genus is disputed. Fossil evidence has revealed that C. megalodon had a cosmopolitan distribution and fed upon large marine animals."

True story!

It could practically snap the neck of your puny T-Rex in one bite, and if that ain't awesome I don't know what is.

Utahraptor. It's a little bit bigger than the velociraptors in Jurassic Park (they had their size increased by a good 4 times).
