velociraptor ftw anyone? i mean come on you've all seen jurrasic park
Ugh. No. No no no no.
The Jurassic Park "Velociraptor" is not a Velociraptor. Veloiciraptor, meaning "swift thief" was about TWO FEET TALL. Scary. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Velociraptor)
They called the Jurassic Park raptor the Velociraptor, because people couldn't be bothered to learn how to pronounce "Deinonychus" ("terrible claw"), which was closer to size depicted in the movies (although still a little small). (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deinonychus)
Of course, there is Utahraptor, but thats far bigger than the movies showed. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utahraptor)
I hate it when people quote Jurassic Park as being the reason they like velociraptor. It's an insult to paleontologists and all us Deinonychus lovers.

velociraptor the first creature to hunt in packs how awesome is that
And this is not even remotely true. I quote "Therefore, while Velociraptor is commonly depicted as a pack hunter, as in Jurassic Park, there is only limited fossil evidence to support this theory for dromaeosaurids in general, and none specific to Velociraptor itself. The pack hunting theory was based on a discovery of several specimens of Deinonychus found around the remains of a Tenontosaurus".
So not only was it not the first pack hunter, but Velociraptor probably wasn't even a pack hunter.
edit 2: In fact, pretty much everything you thought was awesome about Velociraptor is really Deinonychus.
