Other good deaths are:

Will Smith's character dying in Seven Pounds.
He freezes himself in an ice bath and adds a jellyfish to kill him, he does it to ensure his organs survive so he can donate them to various deserving people

Also, the deaths of Romeo and Juliet in the Baz Luhrman (modern) version. V for Vendetta and Sweeny Todd have good ones too.

There is this pne movie where I guy gets killed by a shuriken and he has the most awesome dramatic death ever.

It shoots shurikens of lightning. I wish I could make that up, but I can't, it shoots shurikens of lightning. It could only be more awesome if it had tits and was on fire.

The intro deaths in Cube and Cube: Zero. The one in Cube is the same thing as the one in Resident Evil, but wire mesh instead of lasers. The intro death in Cube: Zero is just brutal, the guy gets sprayed with what appears to be water, but then it turns out to be an acid that slowly melts all the flesh off of his body. Even the characters in the movie watching it thought it was gross.
