I know it isn't extreme, but Hans Gruber's death in Die Hard. Lots of other people Bruce Willis kills in an awesome manner in all the movies, but that one just takes the cake for me.

I've discussed this with friends over a pizza and a few beers. The eventual winner was the 'Church Spire Death' from Hot Fuzz.

I would agree. Everyone thought that the camera would cut away, and then the movie is like 'nope, not this time', and BAM! Right on his head. Truely amazing.

I don't count it as Awesome, but I feel that the little robot boy from A.I., the implied death of his mother was the only scene in any movie that had ever made me actually sad. God, that movie made me want to kill myself, and not because it sucked. (It didn't, really. Which scares me.)

But most awesome....


I really thought that the angry mexican from Matrix Revolutions had a cool death scene, with all dem sentinels. (Yes, I don't remember his name.)

Hmm....

I don't really watch enough good movies to know any other awesome moments.
