gee I wonder why.

OT: Dante's Inferno comes pretty close to best game idea ever, I always liked the parts of eternal damnation in the bible.

or a game where I can play bass, sing and think logically, while killing stuff.

EDIT: shouldn't Nanosaur be Manosaur?
it's a dinosaur with guns!

Heres an idea Ive had for a while..

Deranged ex-scientist brings doll to life FOR FUN and experiments on it, giving it increased agility and intelligence. While the doll is sleeping, social workers take the scientist away to a madhouse and condemn the home. The doll then wakes up and has to find his way back to the scientist.

The game will be unique because:

Players can use ANYTHING as a weapon in some way. Weapons can also be made from scrap:a rubber band, a block of wood and some screws can make a crossbow.

Players will realise how small they are. Think Deadly Creatures.

Underlying plot of the relationship between a creator and his creation.

Ive also thought of a surprise ending.

Anyone got improvements or additions, please note.

"Why don't we send a heavily armored space marine to Hell?"

-----------------------

"How about a game where you catch and raise a caterpillar until it becomes a butterfly?"
"Pass"
"Well ... what if there are other animals too? And Dinosaurs!"
"And monsters ... ?"
"Yes! And they can all grow into stronger forms too!"
"What, all of them?"
"Well most of them."
"What would be the point of this game?"
"hm ... catch them all?"

Nanosaur could be such a hard game to beat if you don't know your objective though once you got the hang of it, vaporizing other other dinos so you could steal their babies and bring them to the future (it's pure awesomeness, I know) with really big guns never gets old

Now I have to admit, that sounds tempting when you look at it that way...but you soon realize the marketing department lied to you when you start up the game and realize both the graphics and some unchangeable settings ruin a lot of the experience, same goes for limited skill and stat training possibilities, and ridiculous requirements for some skills and their related trees ;) however, I will say that the weapons are top-notch, as is the plot and characters, especially for an MMO, although character rolling is seriously unbalanced, and some things need desperate nerfing. Of course, it's a very unique game with very high replayability value, if you could play more than one character more than once. Also, it needs more magic, unicorns, enchantments, healing potions and shapeshifting. Also rez, in case of an Alliance PvP ambush

Just a regular sword and sorcery fantasy RPG in a Tolkienish setting... except the sacred quest of the hero is long over and the dark lord was defeated decades ago. Now the humans, elves and whathaveyou rule the land and all the remaining descendets of the "evil" goblins and orcs are enslaved by them, while the former hero rules the realm with an iron fist. You play a lowly slave who escapes and now tries to rally his people to fight his human slavemasters and free his people.
The jist: As a token evil henchman, you're an awful lot smaller and weaker than even the lowest human enemies so leveling up is paired with learning and/or developing more strategies to make up for your disadvantage.
There are two possible outcomes to your quest: You overthrow the old hero of legend and history repeats itself, just with the roles reversed, or you try to lead all the races to a peaceful coexistance, depending on your final karma level and dialogue options, sidequests ect. you take throughout the game.

I can't think of anything to top this...

Maybe if it had a rocket launcher that shoots nukes.
