Liam Neeson. If he were to come up right next to you and ask you for your wallet or car keys, I'd give them to him. Why? He's fucking LIAM NEESON.

Jason Statham in Crank, even more so in High Voltage. Other actors, um, Anthony Hopkins, Samuel L. Jackson.

Liam Neeson alway plays the quite reserved guy who was forced to kick somebody's ass

Sean Connery for a good first choice. "The name's Bond...James Bond."

Or Jack Nicholson. "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!"

Robert Downey Jr. He was Sherlock Holmes and more importantly Tony Stark/Ironman.

Vin Diesel. On the day he and Samuel L. Jackson meet in combat, the entire world will know the repurcussions.

Well its between Liam Neeson, Harrison Ford or David Hayter. Because ones your dad, one has a wookie best friend and ones Solid Snake/Big Boss/Naked Snake.

I'm going with Christian Bale. He slimmed down to nearly a skeleton for the Machinist, then buffed up to super solider levels for Batman Begins. Not to mention his killer performance in American Psycho.

Never heard of the Machinist. But he slimmed down again in Rescue Dawn. (Or was it Saving Dawn?)

OT: The most bad ass actor I think would have to be Clint Eastwood, because I can't think of some guys name right now.

Jason Statham. Crank.

BETTER than Chuck Norris. He doesn't even know martial arts.
You are grossly misinformed there. Statham could not do the fights and stunts that he does without martial arts training.

My vote for bad-assedness would be Ian McShane, who played Al Swearengen in Deadwood. Now that man, he is badass. The character, at least, commanded respect and fear and he barely ever had to resort to violence, that's what Dan Dority was around for.

I can't decide! Bradley Cooper, Adrien Brody, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jim Carrey, Steve Carrell, Morgan Freeman, Cillian Murphy, list goes on!
I think the post was for who was the most badass, and literally none of those people could even be considered a candidate in my opinion. All fine actors, mind you.

Jet Li, Tony Jaa, Michael Jai White. I wouldn't mess with Wesley Snipes either since he did pick up actual martial arts for a role in Rising Sun, I think it was, and he's been a better action star.
