Batman's my personal favorite, but realistically, the winner, no matter how much prep. time Batman had, would be one of the several "God" characters.

all i have to say to that is... o... m... g... tell me my good sir. tell me how exactly Batman would go about defeating Mr Manhatten. and i would like an actual answer not just a rant about how good you think he is.

First of all, I'd like like you to read the one sentence posted by L1250 containing the word "Batman", kindly quoted above by a kind-hearted and surely all-around wonderful unknown individual whom we should all strive to be like (probably Batman). ...Gambit, pre-brain surgery. He was accidentally blowing people up. He was nearly as powerful as Dark Phoenix and less insane, thus giving him the upper hand in any fights that might break out. Of course, he didn't have full control, but whatever. He's still fucking GAMBIT. Awesome.
