We all have some pretty weird dreams. I mean someone in Japan based a game off of some of the crazy shit she saw in her dreams but some dreams are so batshit crazy you question your own sanity. I once had a dream where (brace yourselves) I was being breastfed by a giant black creature and she was treating me like her son. Seriously what am I on? Am I crazy? Try and top that weird dream that I had. I doubt that you can.

I have a few dreams I remember from childhood that were bizarre, but I'm gonna choose to tell a more recent one, even though it also doesn't really count as a dream. It was more like a hallucination I had while in bed, since I was technically awake for it.

Basically, a few years ago I was somewhere between awake and asleep, and I forget how it all started, but I became utterly convinced there was a giant snake moving through my mattress, and if I moved at all it would punch through and definitely kill me. I knew I was awake (I know how it feels when I'm dreaming, even if only after the fact), and I was utterly terrified: heart pounding, breath shallow, the works. The worst part was when I was slightly sat up, and my hand was on the mattress, and I FELT THE SNAKE PRESS ITS NOSE INTO MY PALM THROUGH THE MATTRESS. I. FELT. IT. Eventually over the course of maybe five or ten minutes of pure fear, I was able to rationalize myself out of it by just reminding myself over and over that this was literally impossible. After that I was fine, but man what an experience. I had never had something like that happen before. I'm not even afraid of snakes!

I literally cannot describe it with words. There in't a way to convey it in the English language, it was just that bizarre. What's worst is I don't even know how much if it was actually part of the dream because while it has remained in my memory because of how odd it was I can't tell how much was the dream and how much has been my memory of the dream distorting it.

It's one of those things that makes me question my reality at times.

One time I was chasing my dad and brother to, what I believe to be, heaven. When I got to heaven, it was all black and blue, and my dad and brother had been turned into hamburgers. I began to reason that going to heaven meant turning into a hamburger and was really confused. I don't think the reasoning went beyond that. I woke up shortly after, probably from the weirdness.

There was one I had just a few days ago. I was part of a team running some sort of dinosaur breeding lab, where the dinos were about dog-sized (even the T. Rexes) and known for being gentle and dependable. But apparently at some point some of the dinos had started turning vicious, attacking and even killing humans, so myself and another tech started doing research into what might be wrong, as all the while the dinos we'd adopted as on-site pets snuggled up to us.

And as I sat down at a computer with a huge monitor and started it up, watching symbols roll by on the the screen, I saw the nearby door open...

...and my former roommate looked in, turned a submachine gun on me and opened fire. (And I'd swear I felt the bullets, though it was more "hit uncomfortably hard with a rolling pin" than "struck by ultra-high-speed lead slug".)

And as I lay there in the chair, I asked the entirely rational "Why?" question. His response?

"Just because you like the game doesn't mean it's just yours."

And then I woke up because what the actual fuck, brain.

Honestly, I've had several in a short span of time that I just classify them as:
* Scary - Something chasing me and killing me where I wake up reaction to the final fatal moment
* Torturous - Being trapped in a pocket reality where it feels real yet it is clearly fake
* Mind F*** - My old and treasured memories are alter severely that I almost believe them to be true until I wake up
* Pleasant (RARE) - A priceless memory is played out in front of me and I am merely the observer to the moment, like watching a movie or play

Until recently, I was never in my own dreams. It was always like watching a movie, and they were always very bizarre, and hard to explain. I think one of my most coherent dreams was that Mr. T was on the news for stealing a baby but then the baby turned into a teenager magically and diffused the entire situation, and the rest I cant put into words. The rest of my dreams tended to be like a mix up between a Monty Python animation and a bunch of other nonsensical bull.

But recently I'm on some medication where one of the side effects is that it will mess with your dreams, now I'm in my dreams all the time. I don't know how normal people put up with it, it's so tiring. I also dream about things that I've been thinking about a lot, but it puts a weird spin on it.

I hear sometimes about how people have dreams of being naked in class when trying to make a public speech.

Recently I've had a couple where I'll 'wake up' somewhere in the city I live in, naked, and try to get home without being spotted, and inevitably fail.

Doesn't sound that bizarre, but still... why?

I was chasing Mario through the forest, but I couldn't touch the ground so I had jump into the crown of a giant moose that would jettison me up into the air, where I would wiggle my racoon tail to glide slowly down towards the next moose. Mario was doing the same thing. I may or may not have been a moose myself, that part is a little fuzzy nowadays.

I once dreamed I ate my girlfriend...
Alive and whole...
Because she wanted me to.

Want to know the kicker?
I actually told my girlfriend about it, and her first reaction was, and I quote: "Ooh, hot!"
Now tell me, am I the crazy person here?

I once read somewhere that dreaming about your teeth falling out was a common sign of stress.

Thought no more of it until one night before an exam I dreamt (fuck off spellcheck, that's totally a word damn it!) that I slammed my mouth closed so hard that all my teeth shattered. Except it didn't stop there. The rest of the dream was me having to use a pair of tweezers to pick all the shards of my teeth out of my ruined gums.

It was about as pleasant as it sounds.

I've had weirder ones, but I can't be arsed typing them out and that one was nice and concise.

I'm pretty sure it's impossible for me to dream normally, since I remember dreams more often than my waking moments.

But, anyway, here's a recent one:
I woke up in the middle of a large glob of lava suspended in middle of a room, and swam out of it. I went about the day pretty normally, except for being on a spaceship pretty far from any planets. Then, I get a video call from my friend, which I answer. He's quick to point out that I'm almost naked, a girl [note: I'm a guy] and also partially a dragon. I dismiss him with "Eh, it's Friday" [dream happened on a Saturday night]. He reluctantly accepted my answer before telling me something else. Then, an alarm on my ship went off, causing me to summon some armor and a gun. Next thing I know, I'm fighting some sort of demon squid.

The entire thing then replays the rest of the night, never yielding a result for the fight.

I can't remember my most bizzare dream but I will comment the most recent strange dream I had days ago-

All I can remember was it's a Regular Show episode and for some reason Modicai was away and Donquixote Doflamingo from One Piece was the manager for the day (he was under their artsytle and nowhere near ruthless in the anime but he keep on smiling). Benson was pretty much partner up with Rigby cos of Modicai being away. They got into a situation like the shows always do and it was sorted up at the end.

That's actually pretty tame compared to my dream I am the crazy person you cannot get more depraved than a dream about being breastfed by a giant black creature. I need help.

Just last night I had a not particularly bizarre, but very vivid dream about me going with a bunch of strangers into a haunted town. Going into any of the buildings would send anyone into a violent frenzy within a minute. Think 30 Days Later level of violence. What's more is that I got possessed myself, and I actually remember what it felt like in the dream. In the dream I went to an old manor, and I was the first one to start twitching. For some reason I was very against doing it (I thought that maybe I'd been to that town before), and kept telling everyone that going inside was a bad idea, but they did it anyway. Me and a couple of others made it outside before the rest started tearing each other apart. One of the others who made it out said we should try to save the rest, while I said that anyone who went inside deserved what happened to them. After waking up I was sure I'd lived out a scenario from a specific horror movie, but couldn't remember which one.

A more bizarre dream was one I experienced last year. I wasn't in the dream, it was more like singular images. There was a fishing town along a river, where all the people had frozen perfectly still in place. There were two fishermen embracing each other with their faces frozen in absolute terror. Then there was a child who stood with his mouth slightly open, so that I could see his tongue had been cut off. Behind him lay all the cut off tongues of the rest of the village. What was strange about these images was that they replicated the art style of Berserk to a tee, and I could perhaps recreate the images perfectly with the help of an artist. The dream continued with an adventurer rising to an empty platform in a citadel very reminiscent of Anor Londo from Dark Souls. In the sky he could see the clouds forming into leering faces that resembled the vortex from Paranorman [http://www.geeksofdoom.com/GoD/img/2013/05/2013-05-08-paranorman-1.jpg]. For some reason in the dream the leering clouds were the carriages of witches who brought misery and plague with them. Then one of the towers surrounding the platform disappeared, and turned out to be one of those witches in disguise. The witch showed our hero the sky as it actually was: completely covered in dark clouds, with the leering faces appearing everywhere. Similar to how in Dark Souls killing Gwyndolin reveals that the sun above Lordran is an illusion, finding the witch in the citadel revealed that the world is actually completely overrun by and in control of the witches, and trying to fight them is a fool's errand. I've been trying to piece together how I could write a story about this, since I found the scenario presented in it just incredible. I just haven't been able to figure it out.

Not terribly weird but I wish to goodness gracious I knew what it meant, although it probably just meant I was playing video games too much at the time. I don't remember my dreams too well and this one was years ago but I remember an okay chunk.

Myself and about four or five other strangers were trapped in a large building, I even had a mini-map in the corner of my vision, it was strange. Anyway, the rooms would move around every time I went through a door, kinda like that movie, Cube.

That's really all I can say about it but here's the thing: That was the first night, I had it two more nights and made progress.

The second night, I scouted around the rooms looking for anything really. I had found a large locked door and later on I remember finding a yellow key (yep, literally a big yellow key) behind an ice chest somewhere, and by the end of the dream, I had a feel for how the rooms moved and what was in 'em.

Third night, I knew what to do. I dispatched one of the people trapped with me to go get the yellow key, told him exactly where it was and how he would need to navigate the rooms to get there. I dispatched two others to get... something else, I don't remember, maybe another key. Myself and one other person, we headed for the locked door.

The dispatched people showed back up with the keys and we unlocked the door, on the other side was a gigantic room (think the control room from Halo) with a single very wide walkway that stretched out from the door to the middle of the room then made a ninety degree turn left to another large door. At the second door we were meet to the right of it with the head of something that looked like a cross between Falcor and Gmork, just a black, long neck of something with a rather freakish face. This creature administered a few riddles, upon the solving of which opened the door.

We could see sunlight on the other side of a broad but short hallway with a couple menial obstacles, something we had to crawl under and something we had to climb over, we were out after those.

But right after that some guy, who my instinct just decided was the architect of the entire maze, was out there and started throwing kitchen knives at us while spouting some stuff I don't remember. The others got away but I have the rather common disadvantage of not being able to run in my dreams so I slogged along very slowly until I eventually tripped up and the guy approached me and was about to stab me while saying "You're either with the good family or you're with the bad family." I don't know if he got me or what but that's the last thing I remember.
Never had the dream again since then.

TL;DR: Myself and a few others were in a big building maze we got out of over the course of three real-life nights and when we escaped, I got stabbed, it was awesome.

As far as weird dreams go, this one's pretty mild. What confuses me is not it's content or it's recurrence but the nature of it's recurrence. Progress was made, things didn't change around on me, sure I remember starting at the same place every night but it's like my subconscious had stuck a bookmark in whatever information I had gathered the previous night.

And boy is it video game-y, keys, mini-maps, the good stuff.

Heh, you know, when I think about it, I sound like the main character in the beginning of some supernatural story. Like that whole Lovecraft thing about dreams not just being isolated things inside your but your consciousnesses leaving this reality and moving to another, this sounds a lot like that. Not saying I believe in that stuff, just that it sounds like the beginning of an interesting fantasy tale is all.

What you discribed sounds like a killer idea for a game or a novel you should write that as a novel I'd read that also you wanna trade dreams?

I have two actually, One when I was young, and one that happened about two years ago.

So this was when I was young and living at a dead-end street. I remember at one point running away from a giant (mud?) monster who also apparently at my family (which I somehow knew), when my pudgy Chinese classmate came sprinting up to me, said something, then ran further ahead. I think I got eaten or something. It's blurry after that.
Later (or in a different but similar dream) I was walking down the street when I went into my neighbors house to find an acquaintance I had mixed feelings about. I ran out the house and he shot me dead with a pistol in the street. I see my corpse on the ground in third person and my vision turns red with the text "GAME OVER".
I think I woke up after that.

The one two years ago was actually a nightmare.

At first I was on the second floor of a very old unfamiliar house. Suddenly there are enemy hoards of monsters outside. The house starts filling up with lava and I now somehow fighting or just trying to avoid fire lizards.
At some point all that stops for no reason.
Now I'm trying to get sleep in a side room on the first floor (Classic trying to sleep in a dream) when the worst of it starts. Shadowy silhouettes of varying size start randomly appearing and slowly but constantly moving towards me, even through walls (think Radical Larry SCP-106). The only thing I could do was jump through the window and avoid them until they'd disappear at some random point.
The problem is that they'd appear at random times and in random places so it was just a terrifying experience of being almost constantly chased in a completely unfamiliar place.

My worst nightmares are always home intrusion related.

I don't know how many NON bizzare dreams I have, but the one that I can remember...I was waiting for a bus with my cousin and a cartoon character, walked into the bus stop's second story (it was a double decker bus I think?), found myself in a room adjacent to a large dining room where I saw the Last Supper, except instead of Jesus, my grandfather was there. Also he was tapdancing? Which made sense, as he'd been tapdancing professionally for years, but still. Very odd.
