mind everyone is mentioning farcry 2...yes it can be boring but i still loved it
Portal is a brilliant game but FarCry 2 was not. It was a fun game until you had to do the same things over and over again. I'm guessing the people saying CoD4 are only refering to the multiplayer but I don't have it so I really should comment. All I say is from the little multiplayer I have played on it, I'd take Team Fortress 2 any day of the week.
The most boring game award goes to Ninety Nine Nights. Just tap B, A and X randomly until everything dies. Including you.

Far Cry 2 almost bored me out of existence! Thank God I suspected that it would be awful and did not buy it. Instead I... let's just say I obtained it in an unofficial way. Anyways, it was soooo boring that I played with it for about 4 hours before permanently deleting it from my pc.

Any X-box game. Or Console at all really, I managed to like a few games on the nintendo 64 but aside from that I have yet to find a single reason why anyone would pay the ridiculous amounts of money to play on them. Certain games do pop up that I suppose I could find amusing to some degree but it's just not worth it.

I decree that people go into detail about what exactly they hate about their chosen game, so this thread is a little more entertaining.

To contribute... I dunno. Never played any boring games.

cod 4 & world at war

i mean the story of cod 4 was short as hell
and online after you get into prestige you can basically say online Just keeps repeating itself to the point you fingers start to bleed along with eyes
You HAVE to be shitting me?
CoD4 is a seminal point in gaming history! Boring????? Your life (in games) must be terminally unfulfilled.
I can't think of any truly boring game. I just don't play a game if it's boring. I didn't enjoy Mass effect though.
Haha, don't kid yourself. Cod4 is about as dull and samey as an FPS gets, especially the multiplayer.

DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2... Dont even get me started
That or Dynasty Warriors
Its gets so repetitive, its fun at first but after a while its just
tedious, you can go through the whole game just mashing square
But what about Tenkaichi 3? Wait... is that getting you started? Different game (technically) so I hope not. :D

Also, I like the DW games not the Gundam ones... but I like the story... which is always the same... but I do like Empire Mode... which is worse than Romance of the Three Kingdoms... argh, fail.

Hmm, I actually found Red Faction: Guerrilla got boring after about 10 hours of single player and the multiplayer was okay... thats at its best though. Also, I am pretty sure that it made my 360 go RROD as that is the most recent game I bought... except for [Prototype], but I havent got to play that as RF: Guerrilla broke my 360!

possibly some flash game or Tomb Raider Anniversary. annoying camera, pistols that are so weak, you would wish you had water guns, the adrenaline dodge is almost impossible to do on the PC, just generally a turd.

honorable mention goes to all spyro games after the 3rd one (which was awesome). i played Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning for 20 minutes, then i had to play some fighting games before my brain exploded.

Don't hate me but..."Shadow of colosus" Yes its was gorgeous, yes it was artsy. But besides the epic battles of climbing and "stab here" It was for the most part a horse riding simulator. *Takes a step back. please not in the face.

trilby the art of theft.

Halo 3's singleplayer has boring IMO as well, multiplayer with forge and theater has however allowed it to be stay as tail whipping rocket whores with a warthog provides no end of fun.
