I realise I may just be judging a book by its cover, but did anyone else see the game 'Railworks' trailed on steam for a whopping £34.99? Thinking I'd have a look, I watched the trailer all the way through, waiting for the good part. It never came. I was just wondering whether anyone out there would consider buying this game, and if so, why?

While I COULD make a nice Half Life 2 referance out of spite, I'm not going to because I do not want to be a troll, besides that woud be a lie anyway as I rather liked Half Life 2. SO instead I shall choose the more obvious boring game of Far Cry 2. Boring visuals, uninteresting setting and more of that gritty real world drama that I hate and I've got something I would never want to play again.

P.S Please don't misinterperate the HL2 comment as anything sinister, I do not hate Half Life 2.

P.P.S of course mention goes to Too Human, Two Worlds, Turok and X Blades as well.

For me, probably de Blob, you get to paint buildings oh fun -_-, i thought there would be more of a gaming element than pretty much playing a 3D colouring book with the Wii remote, i shouldn't have put my faith in Nintendo in the first place i guess...

About that railworks game, i would say thats the kinda trailer that would probably put you asleep rather than give you the enthusiasum to buy the game in the first place, so no way i would buy that, regardless of the price, hell, i wouldn't even accept it if i was given it for free.

Yeah Far Cry 2 was dull as dishwater, luckily I had only borrowed it from a friend and not bought it, if I had to travel through the god-awful shanty town again I was going to jump out of the window in sheer despair

Spore. Reasons being its just a creature creator, the game itself is pants.
Far Cry 2 was stupidly repetative, didnt get far without being bored.

Im sure theres others but I tend to forget boring games and only remember the good ones.

Oh gosh, Hornby for PC. That's pretty damn dull.

Recently, the only game that bored me senseless was Tom Clancy's HAWX, although that's probably because I don't like flight sims and my friend convinced me to play it, assuring me it would change my opinion of flight simulators. Needless to say, it didn't.

DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2... Dont even get me started
That or Dynasty Warriors
Its gets so repetitive, its fun at first but after a while its just
tedious, you can go through the whole game just mashing square

Why do you type like you need help dressing yourself in the morning?
Because I do, god knows those t-shirts are so damn hard to work out all those holes and besides why do pants have belts if I'm not supposed to put the on my head? Anyway I'll assume you are talking about the bolding words, right well when I bolded out 'so' that was accidental, other than that I said 'could' in large letters to draw more attention and to amplify that I could say that but I won't. The thing is I still haven't quite worked out how to type in different styles in this crazy thing called 'threading'. So I can only BOLD OUT my words as a way of putting more emphasis on them.
Answer your question?
P.S you are actually the first person to make any kind of achknowledgment of my typing so that's something. By which I mean the punctuation, most people just note that I type a lot.

I just logged onto steam a minute ago and saw it, and seriously, who would pay £35 to drive down a linear peice of track?

Desert Bus.

If you haven't heard of it, google it. It is THE. MOST. BORING. GAME. EVER. DESIGNED.

In fact, it was designed to be the most boring game ever.

Seriously - it's just driving a bus. Down a straight road. For many HOURS, continuously. Because the bus veers slightly to the right, you can't let go of the controller for long. All you do is drive down that road. And yes, it takes HOURS. Nothing happens to the bus while it's driving. You do not stop at all. There is no scenery, just plain desert sand.

And after you get to your destination, you are awarded with 1 single point. Then you get to drive back in the exact same way for hours to get another point. And then you do the same thing for the third point.

The game has a cap on 99 points, but no one has ever got that far into the game, and, according to those who have looked at the game's code, there is nothing that comes after. No joke, no ending, nothing. There are no movies, no cutscenes, no dialogue - just driving the bus. Back and forth. Forever. And yes, it really does take somehwere between 7 and 8 hours of continuous driving, to get ONE POINT.

It is the worst game ever made.
