Just Cause. Yes it's fun to drive around and jump out of cars while you drive off a cliff with a parachute on but.....after about 10 minutes that gets boring and you have to resort to the below average story or the same 3 side missions that are repeated over and over and over and over and over again.
I enjoyed playing Far Cry 2 but looking back on it I can see why people think it's boring with the repetition and lame story. Surrounding enemy camps in rings of fire and taking them out with the sniper rifle as they run round trying to find a way out was a nice way to relieve stress after a crappy day at work.
I can also see why people don't like RPG's like Mass Effect and KOTOR, if you want instant action then play a different type of game. An RPG is meant to be played over time, developing your character, along with the story, your equipment and the locations. I love Mass Effect and KOTOR but for me the worst part of both games is the first couple of hours when you have crap gear and crap stats, once you get past that the game gets it's hooks into you and you get to the meat of the story and the bad ass weapons.
