how is that brutal? the victom would hardly feel it because they would be dead so fast.

Well, if you ever counter-killed a guard, managing to shove the blade right into their head in a variety of "ouch" ways, you'll agree that it is pretty brutal.
But the most brutal weapon is Alex Mercer.
Seriously, that game was borderline repulsive.

You haven't played manhunt have you? The first kill is putting a plastic bag over somebodies head, punching them about 10 times in the face then breaking there neck. Thats one the milder kills you can get.

I'd say any of the weapons in Fallout 3.

Only the as the Lone Wanderer can you look like a badass by murdering Vault 101 Security with a baseball bat.

though I guess with V.A.T.S, it can seem hard for Mr./Ms. 101 to not look like a badass. in my opinion anyway.

I chose the AA-12 because it can quite literally tear your enemies apart. In the Modern Warfare game I was just playing, I had shot my opponent several times with it, which in real life would have removed several of his limbs, and then ran up and stabbed him in the face.

Definitely chainsaws. From Doom to Resident Evil to Gears of War this weapon mutilates the victim in the most brutal way possible, and using it on a human enemy almost feels too visceral and cruel to me.
