I often find myself whistling the Castle Crashers menu theme.

Also, when Ocarina of Time was ported to Gamecube, Nintendo screwed with the dungeon interiors and included these on the disc as Master Quest. The opening screen where you chose between the original game and Master Quest featured the most incredible orchestral version of the Zelda theme I have ever heard.

Monty on the Run on Commodore 64. Look it up, there's an MP3 of the original on Wikipedia.

The MP3 has been busted for months. Luckily I work with the HVSC project and have ample supply of SID files for my c64 and winamp =p

Yup, although I prefer Morrowind's. Both are pretty ace though.

Also really nice:

- Hitman 2 (maybe the others as well) is awesome
- Diablo 2, even if it got old eventually
- GTA IV

Mirror's Edge's (huh) was OK although a little subdued.

The intro songs for the Super Smash Bros. games always got me feeling pumped up for a fight.

The intro to Tales of Symphonia was awesome in its own way. The feeling of epic-ness it conveyed was perfect for an RPG. Oblivion's intro song also conveyed a feeling of epic-ness.

That wierd J-pop song in the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 1 is way too catchy for its own good. In fact that song is my guilty pleasure along with watching old episodes of pokemon when it was cool, and i was 9 . . .

But I'm serious, remember that first episode, where there was like a million spearow, and ash almost died, so pikachu pretty much Kills them all, that was kinda hardcore.

Agreed. I actually have both the English and Japanese versions of that song.

I've got a couple more: the title song from Mega Man: Network Transmission, and the theme from Jets'n'Guns. Of course, the latter was professionally recorded by an actual metal band ([a href=http://machinaesupremacy.com/]one which happens to be made of awesome[/a]).
