Guitar hero. I mean, I just hit like 90 percent of the notes... how am I now playing in a stadium to thousands of fans?

But if you're talking about games with storylines.... Gears of War 2. But I guess I just didn't care enough about the characters. Despite how hard they tried.

Final Fantasy 10 -
" Wait. So they're all dead, and he's a dream? What the fuck?!"
Oi, slap some spoilers on that! Also,
Only Auron is actually dead.

FFXII's plot was confusing only because it was so damn hard to get interested in, possibly because it was far too bureaucratically political. A huge disappointment after X's amazing plot.
Actually, my "they're all dead" comment was refering to ( I don't know how to do spoilers so I'll just put it in caps) THE MAESTERS OF YEVON, I wasn't even talking about AURON. Sorry BTW for the spoilers.

I gotta say the Halo series. Not counting Halo Wars, still haven't gotten far enough into it to see if I'm gonna get confused.
Wait, what? They pretty much spell it out for you game by game: how far into it are you? Or are you doing things in the wrong order?

Canonical Order, top of the list happens first, if it's not in the list I've never read it...

BOOK: Fall of Reach
BOOK: Contact: Harvest (takes place during Fall of Reach, essentially.)
GAME: Halo Wars (breaks canon slightly, but w/e)
GAME: Halo: Combat Evolved
BOOK: Halo: The Flood (is basically Halo CE on paper, with a few other points of view)
BOOK: Halo: First Strike
GAME: Halo 2
BOOK: Ghosts of Onyx
GAME: Halo 3

If I've fucked up, someone tell me.

The Legend of Zelda games. The storyline in each game isn't confusing but how are they connected?
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is a prequel to The Legend of Zelda and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Ocarina of Time is also a prequel, going even further back and implicitly retelling the backstory of A Link to the Past. The Wind Waker takes place hundreds of years after the events of Ocarina of Time. The game explicitly references the "Hero of Time" from that game, and states that, due to the hero's absence, it was necessary to flood Hyrule to stop Ganon.

In case you actually cared...
My theory is that all the game aren't connected and they just have the same set pieces. Kind of like alternate dimension versions of the same game.

On topic, Folklore was pretty mysterious but, it was meant to be that way. I wish the difficult weren't so dang impossible at the end of the game so I could beat it and find out the rest of the story.

Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid. I'm surprised no one mentioned those.
Im a insane to say that i actually understand the Resi plot?..

backing you on MGS though, i had to look so much shit up to find out what i did and what the fuck happned when i completed mgs4
If it's insane to understand what is happening in the Resident Evil Universe then I'm insane as well. Also, the Metal Gear Solid 4 story has it's own encyclopedia on the PlayStation Network that links all the major events in the Metal Gear Universe.

I would say the Resident Evil series are perhaps the most unintentionally confusing games I've played. The finer plot and dialogue details were probably lost somewhere over the mid pacific, but even in the original Japanese, I find it hard to believe that the story was ever solid enough to hold its own weight.
