Everyone knows the old andendum 'ask and you shall receive' but it's also true that 'ask in a funny manner and you're more likely to receive'.

I love Pizza. I really do. I recognize that it's destroying my body but I can't help it, the cheeze, the pepperoni, mmmm...good.

well I live with my brother and his boyfriend. His boyfriend is in charge of the funds because I'm something akin to a shopaholic and my brother would buy a billion video games. SO it's for the best. Today however, I REALLY wanted Pizza. Like I REALLY wanted it. So, I walked into the living room with a sign taped to my chest: "Healthy boobs need pizza to fester (crossed out) grow."

I think I'm getting my pizza :3

so how about you escapist, tell us about a funny way you said please!

No, he's a girl in disguise. Anyone have a facepalm for this guy? It's too early for me.

OT: You don't say please. You take their most valued possession/person. Then you get what you want via the fine art of Ransom. With a capital R.

Hilarious. One would assume so, seeing as he has a boyfriend. Either that or he's really drunk.

OT: I've found promises of sexual favours sometimes work quite well. If that fails, which it surprisingly often does, then I offer to buy them a drink. If that fails...well I don't know what I'd do but it hasn't failed yet.

Edit: Fantastic, just noticed the guy's name. I'll have a facepalm too.

Extremely fitting considering your avatar.

And I'm going to have add another vote to "would you kindly". A few of my friends would get the reference, adding to the entertainment value.

I generally use something along the lines of 'You mean a lot to me, how much do I mean to you?' *subliminal hinting that I need a favour*
And I try not to use the whole 'please do something for me and I'll give you enough hope for you to delude yourself into thinking we may one day sleep together' thing around my guy friends, but I find that leaning against them and pretending I'm too tired (and poor and lazy) to do something works quite well.

The only different way of saying please that I can think of that isn't mind-bogglingly obnoxious.
You saved me a post.

Of course, now I've gone and wasted it.

"Would you be a dear.." Nah I'd never say that. Usually por favor if I'm bored of please, but how about saying "Thanks" instead of please?

"Will you get me that milk, thanks"

lol. That sign thing sounds like a good idea.

OT: I usually go for something to either make them feel bad about it, or I try to just fake something to make them give in more easily. I'll try to edit this when I think of a good example I've used.
