Most dangerous creatures you ever saw. In a zoo doesn't count. has to be wild.

I'll tell you the most dangerous creature I've ever saw, Man.
...Well that or a wild Moose, or a large Dog, or perhaps a domesticated bull, although while it wasn't in a zoo it was in a farm...

I was walking to 7/11 one night in Florida and from around a car parked along a dark road, a fucking bear just walks out. The animal was about 6 feet from me when this happened. I froze, and it looked at me for a moment before just continuing on its way to the small forest area near my apartment.

Scared the shit out of me when it happened. Afterwards I was proud when I realized my only thought when it happened was "How am I going to take this bear down if it attacks?" not "Oh got I gotta run!"

Let's see...
- We had a brown snake in our garden once, they're pretty nasty.
- Redback spiders show up from time to time, but they're not actually deadly.
- Saw some saltwater crocodiles in Darwin.
- And my least favourite, the blue ringed octopus (again). I was actually kneeling on this one for a while. I assume it was too busy being crushed to murder me.

Why yes, I do live in Australia.
Red back can kill children. I wouldn't underestimate them.
wait yeah. Isn't the red back the most venomous?? it's a cousin of the black widow.

A Bloodsucker.

OT: I really haven't seen that many dangerous animals, a brown bear is about the most dangerous I've seen.

A crocodile, while in America. Apart from that there are virtually no dangerous wild animals in Ireland (not including enraged Leprechauns) so the most dangerous wild animal I have seen locally would be a bull.
You sure it was a crocodile, not an alligator? Crocodiles are pretty rare; they've only recently been downgraded from "endangered" to "threatened".

Honestly, there isn't much difference between the two; an alligator is pretty much just a crocodile with a fatter face. I was just wondering, because if it was actually an American crocodile, you're a lucky man, as few people get the chance to see one in the wild.
Opps, they were probably alligators then, I was in New Orleans, and there was a whole group of them in a swampy river at the side of the road

I dont really go out much or traveling so most dangerous thing ive ever seen was a squirrel. May seem cute at first but they are evil!
Why are they evil?
They'll go after your nuts.

As for me, we get black widow spiders, brown recluse spiders, copperheads, and water moccasins quite frequently where I live, which is in Maryland. You see, the thing about Maryland is that what isn't farmland or city is marsh, swamp, and forest, often mixed together in excitingly unpredictable ways.

Deadly creatures I've killed: Grizzly bear (didn't have to wrestle it, thankfully), rattlesnakes, brown recluse spiders.

Deadly creatures I've seen and avoided: Moose, boar, black widow spiders.

I've been within 5 feet of a black bear. You might think that would be a clear winner, but no.

More dangerous was the brown recluse that bit me on the calf. Almost lost my leg as a result.

However, i'd say that the various mice and rats i've seen surpass even that. A bear can kill a couple people, a brown recluse probably just one, but mice and rats can spread Hanta virus or other terrible diseases.

I've seen plenty of undersea nasties.

I've personally caught blue ringed octopi, scorpion fish, mako sharks, hammerhead sharks and various species of stingray. I've also personally seen all manner of devilish abominations from poisonous jellyfish to swimming knives.

The sea is a pretty evil place.
I imagined your avatar reading this in a pompous british accent.

Worst I've seen would be either a black widow or a bear while hiking in California.

I mean, I've seen wolves, bears, coyotes, barracudas 'n the like, but honestly, I think the giant bee was the thing most likely to kill me.
And the thing that pictures or Wikipedia don't tell you about them is the sound.
Its like Nature's deadly helicopter.

Moose. huge bull Moose.

Everything about them is usually used comically or not look very threatening, but a big bull moose is absolutely terrifying. Nothing can really prepare you for how fucking huge that animal is. Looks all placid and calm in pictures you see, but what unnerves you, when seeing it out in the wild is knowing that it could kill you without much effort.

Was out canoeing with girlfriend. While we were portaging across a small strip of land to the next lake. Almost immediately after disembarking our canoe we noticed this bull moose pacing back and forth, back and forth, looking at us about 30 yards away or so. Did nothing but pace and snort occasionally. Moved much faster than I thought an animal that size would. We were a little wary, but again, didnt feel too threatened until it started charging at us directly.

Thankfully we didnt have time to move our canoe or our packs ashore, so the canoe was still half in water, half on land. As soon as that moose charged we freaked the fuck out and jumped back in and paddled out to the middle of the lake. Moose slowed, came to the shore and waded in a few feet, and just stared at us for awhile. We sat out in the lake and just watched it as well. When it turned around and left, we did the same. Headed back to our camp the previous lake over and decided to do something else for the day. Unnerving moment.

Have seen the two most deadly animals in the world

- Malaria Mosquitos
- Hippos

As far as I know those are the ones that kill the most people worldwide. And while lots of other stuff can kill faster they don't have anywhere close to the body count of these two.

Also seen Lions, Pythons, Crocodiles, Elephants, Rhinos, Hyena and a lot of other animals in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
