A Black Bear came up behind me at my bus stop. Scaring the crap out of both me and the bear.
I've seen Grizzlies, Wolves, coyotes, a lynx and one cougar before.

Cougar wasn't that scary for some reason

I've seen a bear and a funnel web spider. The spider was bigger.
So you've been to both America and Australia than because unless you count the koala there are no bears in Australia. And the funnel web is not native to America. Also yeah I've seen a six hundred foot black limbo spider that vomits lava and eats souls.
why do people think Koalas are bears they are marsupials related they are related to possums and kangaroos not bears i know you not saying they are but i had to aruge this with people before
I'm fully aware that a koala is not a bear by any stretch of the imagination.
It's just they are commonly referred to as the koala bear.

Let's see...
- We had a brown snake in our garden once, they're pretty nasty.
- Redback spiders show up from time to time, but they're not actually deadly.
- Saw some saltwater crocodiles in Darwin.
- And my least favourite, the blue ringed octopus (again). I was actually kneeling on this one for a while. I assume it was too busy being crushed to murder me.

Why yes, I do live in Australia.
Red back can kill children. I wouldn't underestimate them.
wait yeah. Isn't the red back the most venomous?? it's a cousin of the black widow.
No the most venomous is the funnel web or the banana spider. It depends on who you ask.

Outside of a zoo, I have seen some pissed off dogs... Those can be dangerous right?

I've also seen a raccoon once. I'm pretty sure they can be dangerous...

Saw a beached box jellyfish once, when I was about 12. Instantly killed whatever interest I still had in beaches, once I found out how fucking dangerous they are, and made the oceans about 100 times more scary in my child-sized mind.

Also had bears rummage through my campsites, on two separate nights (in different locations) in ONE week-long camping/horseback riding trip.

And, while not exactly the most dangerous of critters, there's a family of about 5 or 6 raccoons living in/around my back yard. Don't laugh. Not only do they carry rabies, but from what I hear, when they attack, they go right for your eyes.

Oh, and there's this buck (male deer) who comes to my front lawn every night and just stares down anybody who comes by our house. One time I made the mistake of coming home late and had the scariest time of my life trying to sneak into my own god-damned house without getting run down.

A couple of tiger sharks. I was scuba diving in Jamaica and after the group I was with surfaced and before the boat could get to us, a small group of 3 or 4 tiger sharks began circling about 30 feet below us.. Scared the shit out of us..

Most dangerous creature you ever saw. Feel free to mention more than one creature.
I found a brown widow under a pot in my back yard. Closest I've come to a truly dangerous creature. I saved in a jar for some stupid reason and I think it got away...

Not much in the way of dangerous creatures. Guess I truly live in a first world environment.

So you've been to Queensland Australia and Northern America. Because I'm pretty certain you can only see the box jelly fish in northern Queensland.

Deer.
Kill more people than all the animals you listen combined.
Granted, they're in car wrecks, I still think it counts.
People also attribute the ticks deer carry on them.

Black Bear, Was literally twenty feet from it. It looked at me roared and then went on its way when I did not approach it. It was kinda keeping is distance and threatening me to keep me at bay.

Not always. I've seen (and have been gored by) bucks gore people on their horns from time to time. deer can be nasty fuckers for looking cute.

OT:

um...
-brown recluse
-Black widow
-copperhead
-water moccasin
-rattlesnake
-wolves (a pack)
-coyote (single, but the damn things arent friendly)
-hawk (stumbled upon its nest I guess, cause thing came out of fucking no where and decided to rip shit up)
-Tiger (spent a few weeks in India and I wanted to live in the very very VERY rural parts. Was kinda weird to see it sorta just stalk by, stopping to look at me before walking away again)
-Black Bear
-Badger
and of course, as mentioned, A buck. fourteen point too, so I was glad when I killed it (since that meant I could pull its damn antlers out of my fuckign shoulder, damn deer).

Squirrels. I'm not kidding. On a hunting trip, a nut fell from the tree, and I saw a supposedly innocent squirrel. Kept trying to aim at the deer from my tree stand. 2 nuts are hit me, and not my gun. I get annoyed. Suddenly I see a cascade of acorns. I look into the tree, and there are a good 15 or so squirrels. Now obviously, when you have half a platoon of little furry demons, you have every right to scream like a girl. They're like little furry raptors.

Why, yes, I have. I'm a very well-traveled geek.

I've Seen a Diamondback RattleSnake out here in the desert while riding.

And a few years back during Elk Season, i saw a grizzly bear from about 500 yards away.

Oh and I've seen coyotes while golfing, but they seemed friendly enough from 200 feet away

polar bear, puma, bull moose between his cows (if you don't believe that's dangerous, take my advice: don't find out for yourself), rabid coyote/raccoon/bats. The joys of being a biologist.
