Most Difficult Achievement To Obtain.

I recently bought a XBOX 360, and the games I have now are Lost Odyssey, The Orange Box, Call of Duty 4, and Rock Band. So far the most difficult for me would have to be on the Orange Box (Half Life 2 Episode 2) where you have to defend the missile from the stalkers. But the achievement is to not let the stalkers destroy any of the buildings. I'm still trying to complete it. But I wanted to hear from anyone else who has a 360. Oh and your achievements don't have to pertain to the games I mentioned.

Go and try Mile High Club on veteran on COD4...and most of them on that game were a *****....but Mile High Club and No fighting in the War Room where the hardest.

I actually got the Mile High Club achievement, and I'd say it was one of the most difficult achievements I've unlocked to date. The only other ones that have come close are in fact the other veteran levels of COD4.

The strider achievement that Audemas mentioned is also a toughie, but not the most difficult by a long shot.

Mile High Club is HARD, and I still haven't got it yet. But the hardest achievement I have ever seen is "Beating Tough Competition" on NHL08.

Basically, to get this achievement you have to go online and beat a player who is ranked in the Top 50. There are thousands and thousands of players and to even get to the stage where you might be randomly paired with a top 50 guy, you will have to put up some serious hours and be frighteningly good at the game. The other option is to try sending messages to people in the Top 50, but that's just rude. Apparently they get a lot of messages asking if they'll let other people beat them, and I can only imagine how annoying that must get. Just a ridiculous achievement, very short-sighted of EA to even include it.

I'm currently at 9/10 sentry kills in one life with an engineer in TF2.

Kill 1 person, no one cares
Kill 2 people, someone will tell the rest of the team there's a sentry where you put it
Kill 3 people, their team will coordinate it's demise

Killing 10 in one life is just nonsense, at least if you want to farm achievements the proper way; with no modded levels or goofy rules.

my friend is amazing at call, all of the actually. he's been playing them as soon as they came out, and on veteren. so i had him come over, and he beat the WHOLE GAME ON VETERAN. AND IT WASNT ON MY PROFILE!i was so pissed. but yeah, first try on mile hgh club.

i may just be bad at the game, but getting all the ezi items in eternal sonata. you miss something out, you have to new game+ a third time...

Hardest I've ever done has to be the 'Multiplayer First/Master class' achievements from Turok. One required you to finish a ranked match with 100% accuracy an at least 5 kills while the other required you to do the same with all headshots rather than 100% accuracy (still need at least 5 kills). I did both in one match with dual pistols and won (I must have been posessed by the spirit of Yoda for that game). As you can see, I got it through luck and chance.

Hardest that I have yet to get would have to be the '7 day survivor' achievment from Dead Rising. Reason for this being that to get the achievement you hve to play survival mode for good 14 hours solid...it's not that the survival bit is hard, its having the will to keep it up for 14 hours that makes this more or less impossible for most people. There is no save point or check point (measning that you have to start from scratch every time), if anyone can actually turn around and say otherwise (and that they got it easily)...you play games far too much.

Devil may Cry 4. King of the palace - Complete the bloody palace. It's easy enough, if you do it with the infinite DT but without I only got to stage 50 of 101.

That was definitely a rough one, but I finally got it.

I'd put my vote on squishing all the antlion grubs in HL2Ep2. Way too tedious and annoying for my tastes.

I agree with brabz the antilion grubs are so annoying when you miss just a couple. I think what would suck is the completing GTA4 in under 30 hours and just missing it.
