Played Kid Chameleon, the long route.
Zillion for the Master System - Speed Run.
Still have to play Phantasy Star 2 in a single run.

Make it through a Myst game without consulting a strategy guide.

Finally did it with Myst III not too long ago. Long enough after playing through it the last time that I barely remembered any of it, so prior experience didn't help me very much. In fact, I distinctly remember getting through the Edana Age with no problem the first time I played it, and I got stuck in so many places this time around it wasn't even funny.

And I wanted to punch myself in the face for over-complicating the Amateria ball and weight puzzle as much as I did. It was the ONE puzzle I consistently needed a guide for, and then this time, "Oh my frickin' god... Was it seriously THAT simple!? THANK YOU, ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PHYSICS."

Probably playing a fully support role on Persona 3 Fes and Persona 4.

Or a nuzlocke run where I could have no more then 4 pokemon and none of them could be past their primary stage. I could still catch pokemon in the other stages, but I could use thme to fight and could only use them to breed for primary stage.

2 episodes come to mind:

1: Killing EVERYONE in Fallout1... just traveld the map cleaning out every location, was quite fun, exept maby The Brotherhood of Steel, cuz they would eather "hit" me for 2 dmg or "crit" me for 15.000 dmg. So had to quick save every turn hehe.

2: Getting 100% on Banjo Kazooie .... nuff said.

I'm doing a Nuzlocke run in Pokemon: White right now, its a son of a gun.

MW1 on Veteran. I still have nightmares about the newsroom.

Solo run of the BG Trilogy as a Sorcerer. There are more difficult classes, but there are certainly easier ones too >.>

There are a few games that I own that I have low play times on. My greatest challenge is to try and complete them at a normal difficulty.

Incidentally, Dead Space is probably that only game I own that I have never played yet. That is probably a lie. I would then venture to say that it is the most recent game I have not played yet.

That or finally fill up the PokéDex. I can't say I have ever done that.

I tried to play Metroid: Other M without having suicidal thoughts, but sadly failed around the third cutscene with that goddamn emotionless ***** voice actor who was supposed to flesh out one of my favorite silent protagonists.

As for difficulty of execution, the hardest challenge was actually completing Halo: Reach on legendary using only human weapons. A little tricky for me, i became highly reliant on a plasma rifle-DMR/Needle Rifle/Magnum combo.

I played through the original Final Fantasy Tactics using only Ramza, other than in the very first battle. All subsequent battles were fought alone and, if any "guest" characters were present that I didn't specifically have to keep alive, I would kill the guests to ensure they couldn't interfere. It made for quite a fun challenge, particularly in monster battles where they all matched your level automatically.

I've also tried beating Resident Evil 2 without ever saving, in one sitting. I screwed up right near the end and bit the dust. Shame, that. It was a fun try though.

Fighting the Plantium Elite four, without using any items at all.

Trust me it's harder than it looks, my Pokemon are well trained and I can easily make it through the first three, it's Lucian who always kicks my ass.

Earning Medallion of the Imperial psychopath on Napoleon Total War, on Very hard/very hard.

For those, who don't know, you earn the medallion by declaring war on everyone (i.e the whole of Europe)in the first turn, never negotiating peace, and winning. I set victory conditions to be conquering most of Europe. (long campaign)

I did not win. The combined Spanish, French and Russian assault on Marseilles made sure of that.

So I did it on normal instead. The whole war thing barely inconvenienced me. : )
I've never actually "lost" a campaign on Total War, as in, been completely defeated with other factions, so I might try going for that on Hard. Haven't played Napoleon too much though. Feels a bit... restrictive, compared to Empire.

Playing through Thief and Thief2 without knocking out or killing any enemies (unless required for mission goals). In essence, what we taffer's refer to as "ghosting" missions.

European Extreme on MGS2 - with only non lethal takedowns, no alerts, four saves and everything else that was just stupid.

As I'd already completed the game on each setting obtaining dog tags, everything went relatively okay until Arsenal Gear. Then Tengus rolling around, a seemingly endless streak of MG Rays and a pneumatic finger to beat Solidus' strangulation game really started to whittle down my resolve.

I achieved in under two hours, which goes to show what actual gameplay was available even back then.

Final Fantasy IX in under twelve hours for the Excalibur II is another one.

Raise an army of Khergit, Rhodok and Nord recruits while at war with the Swadians, Rhodoks, Sarranids and Nords. I should also add that I have 7 denars, no horse and 3 sacks of grain to do it with. Fuck Sanjar Khan, I'm leaving this ****'s army, he has no idea what he's doing. If only I could get to him without being attacked by 54 steppe bandits every 30 seconds.

Mount and Blade: Warband is a *****.

I played the entirety of Return to Castle Wolfenstein using the knife.

Protip: It takes about 20 minutes to kill the end boss with a knife.
