Most recently - Brink. I loved it for the first day, really amazing, but It's gotten rather old rather quickly, and I can't see why - I guess all the weapons seem the same to me, and on the X-box everything's a bit murky. Regret purchasing it - need some other thing to fill my TF2 void before my PC gets fixed. . .

Garshasp: Monster Slayer. Not preorder, as such, but I stayed up to buy it the moment it was unlocked on Steam.

Disappointing does not begin to cover it. My god. At least Garshasp's face is funny.

Metroid: Other M

Gameplay is too short, and way too easy. I like the Metroid games, but not this one.

Spore

Yeah I went there. The game wasn't bad per se, but disappointing in how repetitive it got

Can you believe I preordered Turning Point: Fall of Liberty AND Haze?

I did and now every time I even think of preordering something I think to myself...

"Is this going to be like that time I preordered Haze/Turning Point and wasted 65 bucks, gas, electricity, time, and my life?"

...if the answer is maybe then it doesn't happen. Then all is right with the world and more importantly my wallet.

Oh, easy... I can't even remember the name it was so damn painfully forgettable.

Lord Of The Rings: Conquest.

I was like; "Zomygod! Finally, some sort of sequel to the battlefront series! But in lord of the rings land!? Yaaaaay, funzies..."

1 pre-order later: *is crying*

Mount and Blade with Fire and Sword was a bit of a disapoint for me.

I agree. I was looking forward to that for quite a while only to find myself still playing warbands instead.

My pick would have to be Mafia 2, not technically a bad game but i do kinda regret paying full price for it.

Final Fantasy XIV. An MMO so bad the developers even admitted it was. Its nice to see they put their hands up for it and try to fix it.

Not to hop on the bandwagon or anything, but I have to agree on FF13.
And I see it all the way through though. Just to see if it would pick up.
and it didn't. It was moderately entertaining at best, but that's just deadly for an FF game.

Aliens Vs Predators. I went to the local gamestore and saw the amount of pre-orders for AvP (2010) and decided to place one for myself hearing how "good" it was going to be. I shouldve relied on my instincts and realised how overhyped it was. In the end, just playing for 1 day and I realised how I just wasted my money :(

Spore, ohhhhhh so much Spore. Never before was my hype so misplaced as with Spore. It was just a digital Mister Potatoface with incredibly bland and repetive gameplay.
