We were all innocent at some time. I spent my childhood in China, deprived of video games or typical American culture (save for the Gameboy and SEGA). When I first saw a pokemon game, it was on a school Friday Swimming Lesson and it was in the waiting lobby where we were waiting to get into the pool. I remember that it looked like Ash was sitting down at first. Then a while later, my dad of all people bought Pokemon Yellow Version and started playing it.
Me and my brother would sit around the couch for hours watching him play, until later when we got our very own Gameboy Color(s).
Actually I always thought that cutscene in Mafia where they set the trap to run the guy down with the train was one of the most brilliant cutscenes I've ever seen- from tiny touches like the nervous eye twitch to the look of terror on the poor old signalman's face- and the suspense ramps up as the train draws closer. Outside of that....Clock Tower 3, the Corroder blinding a guy and his mother with PCP spray then throwing them into a vat of acid - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2Eu2u_cSVs - I don't think I can even play that game again, it really sickens me to see such a thing happen.

and you're SUPER right on the train wreck scene in Mafia. I still say that it is by far the most incredible game i've ever played. You can't beat a story like that...Like at the end when you find out that Sam killed Paulie and gives you his big speech at the Museum.

How could I have forgotten? From the under-appreciated horror game Call of Cthulhu, one of the main characters 'visions'.
