What is the most messed up or disturbing movie you have ever seen and why? Mine would have to be London to Brighton because of
the scene where the little girl gets raped/almost raped
or one of the recent Saw films just because they are so graphicically violent. Please don't include internet things, no 2 girls 1 cup references please. I have not seen the Human Centipede but from the trailer that looks incredibly gross.

Hannibal. I watched about five minutes of it when it was on and felt physically sick to my stomach. Honestly, who wants to watch that?

Hostel, I suppose, that or the newer The Hills Have Eyes, where the daughter gets raped by the freakish fallout victims...

Why would my mom say "Oh, let's watch this movie" she shouldve watched it first.... uhm... I'm growing uncomfortable just thinking about that stuff....

Doogtooth (or Kynodondas, original title)

Watched whole movie. It's very disturbing.

I could probably think of worse but off the top of my head I'd have to say The Mist. Human behaviour is fucking scary D:

At the risk of repeating myself (in the horror film recommendations thread earlier this week), John Carpenter's The Thing, partly because the ending was rather open.

Jacob's Ladder was messed up, but not so disturbing, and Donnie Darko had me thinking back over it a lot for a while.

None of them were ever as messed up and disturbing as real-life footage of Tony Blair or those interviews with Sarah Palin supporters, though. Yeesh.

I was going to say Eraserhead but then I realised my class found most of the half hour we saw hilarious, so that can't really count.

This.

Also, for me, Cabin Fever. Terrible movie looking back and it's actually kind of funny nowadays, but the premise is horrifying and just makes you shudder.

The Girl Next Door (2007).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Girl_Next_Door_%282007_film%29

Its a movie about a girl that is tortured, raped, and eventually killed by her aunt and her fucked up sons while the dipshit neighbor sits in the corner, drinks bear and and asks himself if this is wrong.

This movie is so wrong, its broken up marriages I haven't even had yet.

Jesus Camp it was documentary, but the fact that stuff goes on like that is mind boggling. Makes the religious fervor in the Middle East seem a bit more plausible.

I know I turned off that movie at that scene. I'd have to say this trumps both my first two as it disturbed me so much I couldn't keep watching it.
