Ive just finished watching Knowing and there is a section in that where a plane explodes. That bit is pretty intense and for someone who loves the Saw movies it takes a lot to make me cringe.

Edit: Heres the link to that clip for those who haven't seen it.

So i ask you, What is the most disturbing moment in a movie that you can think of?

The twins in The Shining. The shower scene in Psycho. The ending of 2001. The scene in Trainspotting where the baby crawls on the ceiling. The fact that Cry Freedom is a true story. All of A Clockwork Orange. Any Takashi Miike film. Etc.

The sex scene in Taking Lives.

Least erotic and most awkward sex scene ever. Absolutely terrible and very disturbing.

Also, all of TideLand, hands down.

The dining scene in "120 Days of Sodomy". Don't watch if you have a weak stomach.

The mutant scene at the family trailer in Hills Have Eyes!. That just disturbed me.
That and so did the part in Pans Labyrinth involving the knife and the mouth.

Sheesh....movies!

The sheer horror in the end of "28 Days Later".

Seeing grown, trained professionals scream is quite unnerving.
seeing christopher eccleston dying at the end.

I'm not sure if this counts, but there you go:

when I went to see this romanitc comedy with my depressed friend, and they put on CBEEBYS (or whatever it0s called - basically kiddies programmes) before the film when it was delayed!!!
I'd never seen such disturbing things, and this is why I avoid cinemas in England now...

I love Saw.

Although I have to admit, the most disturbing movie moment for me was this based-on-a-real-story thing where this Indian girl falls in love with this dude, and her parents arrange her kidnap and murder because she married him instead of the douche they set up for her.

I was completely disgusted and convinced that "respecting other cultures" is a load of shit. Because this actually happened.

There's a scene in "Novecento" where an evil character swings a child around by the legs and bashes his head off a wall until the child's skull gets crushed.

And it's shown IN FULL VIEW OF THE CAMERA! D:

Oh, I really want to see that film. Sounds interesting.
You sure about that? It's like 2girls1cup x 20 and without the non-existent eroticism.

It must be in Dead Snow... The guy who was rather 'big' was in the outhouse (having a number two) and this blonde chick walked into the outhouse and they started having sex right there. After they were finished the guy left and the chick stayed there to also have a number two. That was quite disturbing.

And the movie wasn't a porn film(!)
