That and so did the part in Pans Labyrinth involving the knife and the mouth.
I was more freaked out by the guy with the eyes in his hands when he ate the fairy things.

The dining scene in "120 Days of Sodomy". Don't watch if you have a weak stomach.
Oh, I really want to see that film. Sounds interesting.
You sure about that? It's like 2girls1cup x 20 and without the non-existent eroticism.
I trust Pasolini as a director and screenwriter. Plus, the whole metaphor for fascism intrigues me.

I've never seen that movie but i've heard of it.

Does said scene involve dog bowls and excrement?
No dog bowls(they're in another scene), but for the other...what do you think is for dinner?

Well it's an...interesting movie. And since it's based on a true event, I must say he did a good job.

The 'Sloth' scene in Seven. God that freaked me out...

Actually, scratch that! Anyone here scene a film called Irreversible? If you have, you'll know which bit I mean...

*shudder*
Actually, that's two bits - the bit with the fire extinguisher, and the scene in the subway.

Also disturbing:

The scene with the kids in City of God
Divine having a little choccy snack in Pink Flamingos
Deliverance...squeal like a pig...
Baise Moi - Several scenes here, but the one with the gun up someone's ass was pretty monstrous
Man bites dog - the climax & aftermath of the drinking session

I have no idea what movie this was, but I saw it on Sci-fi once. So, a girl was tied to a bed, (not what you're thinking) and some guy with greasy black hair walks up to her. He looks down. Just as he's about to kill her, she wriggles her hand out and jams a knife through his mouth. He kind of reminded me of Heinkel in Hellsing, in number nine, except with the stringy haired guy, he still had skin connecting his lower to top jaw. I mean, you can't know how disturbing it was until this: The girl gets behind some window, and the guy sticks his finger in his mouth. He takes it out with blood on it, and writes "I'm coming" or something to that extent on the window. Then the girl gets one of her rags used to tie her up in some gasoline, dumps a wine bottle, and Molotovs the house to holy hell. It doesn't sound bad here, but the music, the guy's bloody face, and him being half on fire coming at her with a knife set the tone as, not only totally fucking awesome, but just utterly penetrating into your mind. Makes me shudder.

I would say, the scene in the first hostel where the dude gets his achilles cut and then is told he can escape if he can actually get out the door. harsh stuff.

... when Robert Carlyle kisses his wife and then turns - partly because it's followed by torture techniques of loud clanging noises and strobe lighting effects.

Honestly, gore, feces, and all of the other "gross" things, I don't find all that disturbing. I've seen most of those things in real life.

But truly disturbing for me was the scene in The Shining ( the orignial w/jack nicholson) were his wife discovers the "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" manuscript. It's in this scene that we realize that Jack was going crazy long before they actually came to that psychotic hotel. What a mindfuck that was!

Two Scenes in "End of Evangelion" one is obvious with Shinji. The other one is with Asuka's "death".
SPOILER:She gets a ton of spears in her Eva's body and as she's reaching up, a spear comes down and splits her arm in half.

This may not sound very disturbing when written, as you really have to see it to understand it's impact, but there's this part in a movie called samson and delilah, which is about the life of a disadvantaged aboriginal boy and girl in the northern territory, in which

the aboriginal girl gets run over by a car

As I said, it doesnt sound all that shocking written down, but it's so out of the blue, the whole cinema gasped at once when it happened, its like - silence...BOOM

Event Horizon, happy-go-lucky rape-and-murder blood orgy.

Not so much because it's graphic (it's not really, it's mostly blurred) but because of the things you don't see. Because of the things that are implied.
