Dammnit! I should have listened. Now I can't get it out of my head. AH! How did this gun get between my teeth.

irreversible- the ten minute rape scene and the face smashing scene with the fire extinguisher are two of the most horrible scenes ever. great movie, though.

The Hole.

It seemed unnecessarily unsettling.

might have been said before but "the exorcist"
Try watching it when you're ten. And people wonder why I'm messed up...
Ten? I saw that movie when I was six. I didn't really understand what it was about but it disturbed me all the same. My dad kept going on about how it was an awesome movie but I couldn't watch it till I was older, so of course I had to watch it when it could REALLY screw me up.

Requiem of a Dream . . . didn't seem to have a point. I think it was about drugs, although I'm pretty sure the only way it would have made any sense would be if you were on drugs while watching it. Seriously a fridge attacked an old lady who happened to be doing speed. It was crazy weird
Must watch.

2 Girls, 1 cup. Also a friend told me about a new video called "2 kids, 1 sandbox." If it is what he says it is then you should not search for it.
Never, EVER watch "Kids in the sandbox".
It's the first thing I've ever watched that has caused me empathetic bodily pain.
Empathetic?
That has happened to you?

The Terror of Tiny Town.

not because it's an all Midget western B- movie from 1938...

because well... it's a B-movie from 1938, which by there own standards makes it far worse than any b- movie should ever be....the songs are pretty annoyingly frightening too.

Urotsukidoji. Avoid it at all costs. Got to be the weirdest anime I have ever seen. It was very disturbing. The plot didn't make any sense either.
Are you serious...?! That's one of my favourite films!

I love that bit at the beginning where he says '*gasp*... ah... I'm coming again!'

Brilliant.
I do enjoy gory films, however Urotukidoji was just crazy. The women exploding after certain 'things' happened was just odd.

What on earth made him want to do that? A mate put it on for me when I was round hers and my god I was sickened at what I saw and how she treated her guest. She seemed so innocent, I kinda miss her abit now ...

It was a little disturbing how the kids were treated but the moment dad jumps out dressed in a gimp suit wielding a shotgun I couldn't help but laugh.

As for my choice it would have to be a film called Freakshow. Mainly boring throughout, just a tale of how some carnie freaks are being swindled by their security staff. Then towards the end the freaks kill the security team and torture this woman for 15 minutes doing all sorts of horrible stuff to her (dwarves wielding pliers are just one thing involved). Horrid thing, the worst part is she didn't deserve it. Now normally theres some quality cheesey horror on Zone Horror but that is some seriously fucked up shit.

Nightwatch. It's a danish movie about a student working in a morgue. Don't watch the Hollywood remake.
Thank you. I spent months trying to remember the name of that film.
Saw it with my then-girlfriend who thought I was borderline psychotic [I think]. Didn't help much.

um..Hostel?I guess. It was disturbing in the sense that it reflected our appetite for gore-porn.

For me it has to be Cannibal Holocaust. I also think Eden Lake was quite disturbing, mainly because it shows what teenagers are capable of.

Naked Lunch.

EDIT: also, Braindead (which is Dead Alive for you yanks) is so obscenely freudian you can't help but let its horrifying context just seep in all the way down to your deeper subconscious. The stop-motion effects don't help either: somehow the crappy production values just add to the highly disconcerting nature of this film.
