That bit from The Darkness. If you've played it, you know the part.

Most of that game was damned creepy. I assume your talking about the part in the church? With the girl? That was fucking scarring. Not to mention the WW2 bit. And the second time in teh church with the cops. And in Bioshock, the whole crazy surgeon thing, and the demented sculptor, and then I quit. Unforgettable would be the end of Red Dead Redemption.

If you play as a Dalish Elf in Dragon Age, there's a very unpleasant surprise waiting for you about midway through the game. That and the whole Broodmother thing. Gah.

Could you PM me that? I played through as a Dalish, and I certainly dont remember anything that bad. Although learning about "The Wardens Curse" was a shock.

The Intro to Red Alert 2 Yuris Revenge, when he fires all the Psychic Dominators. It got me pumped up for the game, and pissed off at Yuri. I was ready to fight with all possible resourses to defeat him.

Oddly enough, I had re-installed this game just today. Weird. On an awesomer note, I have actually met the actor who plays Yuri, Udo Kier. He was a guest at a convention here last year.

In the very first Unreal game when you start in that crashed ship. Those screams still haunt and disturb me to this day. Then you find the upper half of A guy under a nearly closed door screaming for his life. you hit the button to open the door, and the guy gets pulled under to the other side and the door closes forever. that part freak the balls off me!

Near the end of Metal Gear Solid 2. When the Colonel starts spazzing out telling you that you've played the game for too long and to turn it off. When it first happened to me I was playing it for around 3 hours at it was around 1 or 2 in the morning. Scared the hell out of me.

Dead Space - I cant remember what area, I know its near the start but you turn around a corner and see a man at the end of the hallway banging his head on a wall. When you get closer he smacks his head against the wall really hard and kills himself. Made me quit the game.

Hah I thought that bit in Prey with your lady friend was hilarious. I hated that *****. It felt good to smack her in the face with a wrench finally.

the bit in bioshock with dr. steinmen. or rasputen and garrados from re4. two of the freakiest enemies in the game. rasputen spoke less and actually threw you around a bit, meaning it was easier to take him seriously. and the garrados are just plain in your face unlike most enemies in that game who walk towards you waiting to be sho

I think BioShock in general, it was an unforgettable ride.
My pick is finding out the truth and the fight at the cinema/theatre.
Whole thing creeps me out.

My other pick is the ending in Mafia 2, for some a normal ending.
For some a wtf moment.

For me, pure brilliance.

The scene in Condemned 2 when Ethan drops down a hole in a floor and lands on an operating table only to be surrounded by various insane torture devices, some with people in them. That was horrible.

I think the bear level freaked me out the most. I was almost crying.

OT: I have to agree with a lot of people with that one Heavy Rain scene. Fuck me, it was very hard covering my eyes and using a controller at the same time...
