Agree with the zombies in HL2 begging for help. Terrifying.
Agree with the beeping sound in zelda, when youre low on life. Annoying.
Agree with the enemy alert sound in MGS. Frustrating.
Agree with the deliciousness of cookies. Delicious.
Agree with the death music in Mario Bros. Aggrovating.
Agree with the turrets in Portal. Unsettling.

and for my personal addition:

"I sprung a leak!"

All of Sean's lines, especially his oneliners, in The Saboteur.

Not even a particularily good game, and the protagonist's lines STILL manage to be the worst part about the game. Everytime I hear "F*ckin' 'Ell!" or "Top of the morning to you. Or, whatever time it is." I die a little inside. Get a proper irishman to voice someone who's supposed to be a proper irishman.

The alarm or siren sound from the Marathon series was never fun to have to deal with.

The constant droning of Mattias Nielson on Mercs 2, same 4 lines over an hour makes me glad i have a mute button.

Remember the Miniblins in The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker?

I always hated that little sound they would make when they were nearby. They always came in big numbers, and were VERY annoying.

I agree with the MGS !. But no one who has played Silent Hill 2 could forget the radio. The static was a sign that shit was coming your way.
This or the sirens signaling the... change in the world.

Bloodsuckers in STALKER, terrify the shit out of you. The game is so atmostpheric, the actual environment becomes as much the enemy as the mutants and bandits.

Haha, my favorite Dead Space song. I love it to death (pun intended) and listen to when playing. I hope they add it Dead Space 2. And I really wish to have seen the person singing it in the game. You hear them but only see dead bodies around you.

I lasted through ALL ten minutes of it. I don't feel right for some reason.

That moaning noise the Closers in Silent Hill 3 make. It's like a female zombie type groaning thing, and the sound goes to a certain point and then reverses itself. So disturbing. Also the Closers are bar-none the scariest video game monsters ever.
