I LOVED Elder Scrolls at the point of Marriage and little kids called 'Skyrim' and 'Morrowwind'. But Our Marriage ended with 1 Monster, A Spider Daedra.

I HATE SPIDERS even in DR2 i hated them the whole 3 act was Spider Related it really bothered me i ended up skipping some of those missions in my 2nd play through.

Now there will be Real Big Spiders that are actually spiders in Skyrim, Not just half a girl with 8 legs. So im srsly considering not buying Skyrim due to Giant Spiders......yeah.

Whats Your Dumbest reason for not buying a certain game or Future Game?

My only reasons for not buying a game are:
(A) I don't think I'd enjoy it; it's not the kind of game I like.
(B) I can't afford it.
or
(C) It's published by Ubisoft, whom I am boycotting.

An online argument I had after a Pokemon battle in SS soured my entire perception of the franchise and will probably never buy another Pokemon game. It was more of a "oh god what have I become" revelation, so it's probably for the best but still kind of dumb.

People who know me know how much I love shooters.

And if a game has no ironsights I might not get it, since I love 'sights so much.

I blame Counter-Strike, its crosshair aiming system made me despise the crosshair.

For sequels, I usually want to finish the original (again), or an expansion pack or something, before buying the sequel. But then I never get around to doing that.

I really didn't like the women as playing cards thing in The Witcher so I won't be getting the second one. Normally that would be the perfect game for me I love swords and sorcery but when I thought about that it just made me feel ill. It's pretty lame I know and I should probably give it a chance but I just feel annoyed when I think about it. The women kind of fawned all over him aswell, that made me feel a bit ill too. He's not THAT awesome. I didn't play past the swamp bit.

Probably silly but it's like somthing I can't seem to get past with that series. I have this (probably incorrect) image of the designers all being like horrible slimy chauvenists now :<

I'm boycotting Mass Effect 3 when it comes out unless they can guarantee the inside of the case smells like marzipan.

I looked at Dragon Age: Origin's case in the shop, saw the cover art and didn't even bothering reading the back of the case.

I thought to myself "this is another one of those games that promises Dragons to exploit the DnD fan's fascination with them"

I'm regretting that assumption now.

I refuse to ever buy anything Bioware after watching a friend play DA:O for a couple hours. The setting, the gameplay, and the story were all dumb (I dislike most western RPG's).

I will also never use Steam. I prefer hard copies, thank you very much.

1) Boycotting Activision.

That's all.
Agreed.
I'm taking it a step further and boycotting anyone who buys from Activision. I'm set to lose some friends at the end of the year.
At least it will be easy. Their upcoming stuff doesn't excite me much.
