This may be memorable to anyone who's played Deus Ex.

On one level of deus ex, you had to go to a warehouse filled with friendly soldiers, go up and fiddle with a satellite dish on the roof, then go back down. Except when you fiddled with the thing on the roof, everyone went hostile.

Now, this warehouse had quite a lot of extra area that you didn't have to go to. So my usual way of dealing with the level was to scour it for everything that either exploded or released poisonous gas when agitated, and spread it evenly around the bottom floor of the warehouse (the most populous area), placed precisely such that it achieved maximum coverage.

Then go and fiddle with the satellite dish on the roof, turn the whole place hostile, and toss a LAM (grenade) over the railings down to the floor, and BOOM!, the whole ground floor was annihilated, and I had an easy stroll with maybe one or two survivors coming from side rooms.

My most elaborate kills stem from my bouts in Mass Effect. I like to combine the efforts of my Engineer and Liara to completely obliterate opposing organics in ways completely unnecessary, but very satisfying. For example, I would use Singularity on a group of enemies, then Overload them, then Sabotage them, then Neural Shock one of them, the Warp one of them, then shoot them all. A tad lavish, but I can't help but do it.

Feel old posting this but theres a game called Jagged Alliance deadly games for the pc I used to love. Basically your a mercenary that goes into enemy areas to weed them out. some of the more fun things you could do was stealth up to an enemy and strap a dynamite or c4 to their chests and get away right before they exploded. Of course back then the graphics being what they were you didnt see anything really cool when you did that. But man was that always fun to do. Id love to play a game against others where I could utilize stealth and explosives skills. Id run around strapping bombs to people left and right and watching them blow up.

Yeah got issues but they entertain me :p

Fallout 3: 17 bottlecap mines (highly damaging) for one civilian old man (Walter, the Megaton water guy). 273 damage each, making 4641 total damage. He vanished...

Not really elaborate or lengthy, but while ago while playing battlefield 2 I think it was, I was laying prone on the ground and a tank was coming at me trying to run me over. I was able to lay between the tracks as he drove over but planted C4 underneath his tank as he was driving over me, I then blew up the tank as he was turning to try and run me over again.

Other than that, in CS a few days ago this guy was trying to disarm the bomb. I sat in front of him where he could see me, but he didn't wana kill me because the bomb would have gone off. He didn't have a kit but was almost about to disarm the bomb. So I had my friend on vent tell me when the bomb was almost disarmed, like at 90% or so and I knifed him in the last second before he would have disarmed it and the bomb went off. The guy got a good laugh out of that. I was able to knife him because he only had like 5 hp.

Set up a 1-life Elimination against bots on Timesplitters 2, Remote Mines only. Attached mines to all the bots - they run around panicking and no longer fight properly so you can ignore them once "tagged".

Got them all wired for boom and giggled as I triggered them all.

Don't feel bad, I posted older games than that on my comment. I think I'm the only one to mention a game from as early as 1986 (Chiller) in this thread, haha.

Jagged Alliance was really fun though. Pretty impossible to find a real copy anymore but it's all over the internet on Abandonware sites and the second one is still shared through torrents a good bit. Still a great strategy game that I can't bring myself to play full-bore for fear of losing several days to it. ;)

On online mode on GTA, I was in a bus going at quite some speed to take a ramp, because on the freeway about 100m diagonal below me was a group of the other team. As I approached the ramp, I pulled the handbrake to take the ramp sideways. I gave myself enough time to bail, and did so as the sideways bus skidded off the ramp, to go down the steep drop. I ran to the edge, pulled out my rocket launcher, and watched as the bus crushed one, and made the other 3 look up to where I was. I then sent a rocket down toward the bus, but in the time it took to reach it, I had been shot in the head by one of the people I was trying to kill. I fell off the cliff to my death, as the bus exploded and killed the rest of them.

It was awesome.

Another would have to be in a race in free mode. There were no rules, we were just driving around the airport trying to out-speed each other. I was in some shitty broken car, and another guy was in an NRG-900 that I wanted, so I whipped out the ol' baseball bat, and as he came past, I jumped out from behind my car, ans swung, taking him off the bike. He started to get back up, so I beat him to death, and then went for the bike.

I love GTA IV.

Team Fortress 2.

5 guys against me, I'm a soldier, the guys charging against me are a medic, pyro, soldier, heavy, and a demoman. just as they enter the door, I aim one very well placed Rocket launcher shot, and KABLOOIE. All 5 die.

The shit that I usually set up in Far Cry 2 when I'm supposed to blow up the caravans is amazing, I usually plant an IED and then wait with the MLG-40, five frag-grenades and five molotovs.
Then I blow up everything!
Speaking of Farcry 2 kills, I was going to kill a convoy once, and threw a grenade at one of the protector cars...it drove past it, but the grenade took out the convoy truck. First thing I shouted: "Hell yeah! That was all skill!"

But most elaborate kill belongs to Condemned 2, where I beat someone to death with my fists, no combos or anything, just to make it last as long as possible...my "victim" did not make it easy...

EDIT: I have been known to double tap the AI in Farcry 2...serves the bastards right for attacking me on sight with cars....

in GTA IV today i was doing the vigilante missions in Broker. i was taking down a gang in the docks. on the way to the docks i took a shortcut from the footpath above the dock area and miraculously landed on the gang as they were making the deal. not one shot fired, all were squashed instantly. very awesome i must say.

COD 4 a few days ago...
it was team deathmatch and my teammates were being as useless as a no eyed seeing eye dog. so i took on the whole other team solo as my team was busy eating hot pockets. hucked a grenade, kill 2 instantly, unloaded the AK47 killing 3 others, flashbanged the respawns, unloaded my AK again killing 4. out of ammo, i pull out the m9 pistola and kill 2 more and knife another. then i was sniped. fucking *****. 12 in like 30 seconds

Battlefeild : Bad Company - I was sat camping out a building as Defense, when all i saw out of the corner of my screen was a sniper. Being a medic I couldnt really take him out, so being... a litle crafty I ran round the back of his house, sat behind him 'till he reloaded, then Headshoted him . WITH THE DRILL!

Also another fun way on that game is to get a buddy to drive into the enemy base in the hummer, while you sit in the back laceing the car with C4's, once you get neer some enemby just taliban the living daylights out of them

I used to love positioning all the remote control mines in the second level of Goldeneye in one of the lab areas so that when I triggered them they would blow all of the scientists through the windows. I wish I experimented with games like I used to.
