Not exactly funny unless you really know the game, or are good at visualizing these things:
In Battlezone 2, ISDF vs ISDF (humans vs AI humans), and we were staging outside of the enemy base waiting for our "Attila" walkers to catch up to the quicker "Sabre" hovertanks. Now, before I go on, I will say that the map we were playing on (MPI: Chill for those in-the-know) has 2 terrain ramps up to each base area, the rest being a giant cliff straight down to the pathway below. So, suddenly, a pair of "Bulldog" assault tanks start hammering our Sabres, killing a few, and I decided that, since one was riiight next to the cliff, I could get rid of a threat easily and quickly. I rush in, the rest of my team dodging plasma shots and staring, and RAM the treaded assault tank with my light hovertank, blasting my main cannon at it, and we BOTH go teetering over the edge, the assault tank flipping and me hammering it on the way down. Unfortunately, I didnt check my radar before going over the edge, so, even though I had blown up an enemy assault tank in mid-air, I got blown up by an enemy sabre lying below. A stream of "Lol"'s and "Haha! Nice!"'s followed as I floated back to base after having to eject.
One more in the same game, 1vs1, me as ISDF and my friend as Scions (aliens). I didnt build fast enough, so my friend got a stream of Maulers (quick, nasty alien walkers that can rip a base to shreds), and sent them at my forward defenses. I knew I was doomed, so, in a last ditch attempt, I sent my bomber out at the group, my friend saw it take off (musta been spying on my base), and had the group move on as my bomber utterly devastated my front lines, with no enemy casualties. I didnt live that down for a bit.
