Most embarrassing fear?

Everyone has that one fear that they would rather hide from the world for whatever reason. What is yours.

For example, my worst fear is being in a dark room with a mirror. If I am anywhere near a mirror when the room is dark, I am either reaching for the light switch or running out of the room. Even going to the bathroom at night, I have to reach a hand in and turn on the light before I go in. I also had a serious panic attack when I thought I had to sleep in a room with mirrors on every side of the bed but where the window was, and my voice went up a full octave when the power went out while I was going to the bathroom. Yes, the reason for it is directly linked to the Bloody MAry legend...which is still embarrassing that it frightens me at the age of 19.

I'm deathly afraid of elevators. To the point where I'd rather take the stairs up ten floors than ride in one. I get odd looks when I go to the stairway and I'm on the tenth floor of a building.

Afraid of heights, just cant stand not being on the ground which makes elevators hard to face sometimes.

As long as you're not playing guitar using your eye-socket, you should be fine...

I can't sleep in a room where I know there's insects. Mosquitoes in particular.

That actually happened to my grandfather.

I'm afraid of touching bugs. I have no problem being around bugs, but touching them gives me the creeps.

I'm deathly afraid of dentists, large dogs, crickets, and needles.
I'm not winning the award for masculinity anytime soon.

Ever since seeing Stephen King's IT when I was a kid Ive hated clowns. Always have. Always will.
Also I hate spiders. They should all be killed with fire. And if they ever find a fire-proof spider, I will kill myself before it gets a chance to.

Lumberjacks. They've always scared the living hell out of me, and I'm sure they are quite nice people. I just...they're so manly. And they have huge axes. And they can destroy trees. And I'm pretty sure that they can shoot lasers out of their eyes and shatter eardrums with their loud yells of "TIMBER".

Mine's a two-parter...I have recurring nightmares about honey and being sticky. In my awful, awful nightmare, I'm on the 10m board, getting ready to dive, I look down, see glorious blue water, I look up, finish the dive sequence, and as I'm pulling off a beautiful swan dive, the water turns to honey. I hit the honey at terminal velocity, sink 10ft deep, slowly surface, remove myself from the pool only to find myself sticky from head to toe...AAAAAGGGGHHHHH, IT'S JUST SO AWFUL!!!

Beat that escapists!!!

So is Stephen King, if it makes you feel any better.
