I'm still afraid of the dark actually. Whenever I go somewhere dark in my house, especially my basement, I have to turn on the lights as fast as possible making the least amount of noise possible.

After playing first person horror games, I cannot be in a completely dark room. My shooter instincts kick in, and I'm expecting zombies to pop out from behind a corner and try to kick my ass. I gave my brother a black eye when he snuck up on me in the dark. Got grounded for a month after that...

When I was younger, I was afraid of Bees/wasps and being home alone. I've mostly conquered both, although I am slightly scared amongst bees and cautious when home alone.

Gerald scares me. His adorability may cause a quantum singularity and we would all have to suffer in a transwarp field

I'm deathly afraid of elevators. To the point where I'd rather take the stairs up ten floors than ride in one. I get odd looks when I go to the stairway and I'm on the tenth floor of a building.
im the same way everyonce in awhile my group of friends likes to pull me into one when im not paying attention.

I live in constant fear of a guitar string snapping and taking my eye ever since my freind told me it's what happened to his guitar teacher. it could be bullshit, but i may never know
Eeek!

........I have that fear, too....Except, with cello strings.

I'm also rather fearful of talking to people I don't know- I'm incredibly shy in real life...

Aliens. Not those awesome Ridley Scott aliens but those greyish, slender, bigheaded ones. Their big eyes just freaks me out.
I actually saw the movie "Aliens" at a very young age, which really made an impact on me.

For about 6 months, I believed that an alien was in my closet. And one day, it was going to use its little mouth to get me in my sleep.

My most embarrassing fear is I'm afraid someone is always going to start following me when I walk up the stairs at night. I don't know why but because of it i have to take off running up the stairs, fallen face first a few times.

Don't worry about it man. Because they're metal, they have extremely low elasticity, it can't happen with guitar strings. I've snapped loads, they just curl up, not too fast that they'll whip you or anything. Trust me.

Needles are one of my fears. I'd rather be stabbed. But that's quite common.

My strange fear, however, is plants.

I can't explain it at all.

Stick Insects.

I'm fine with any other insect, but Stick Insects scare the crap out of me.

Also I find I'm a tiny bit apprehensious about Geese, since I was attacked by one when I was but a wee little Ninja.

Gerald says he's a bit scared of the prospect of a quantum singularity.

I've met a guy scared of roads. Not just driving, but roads.

And... well.. I... i'm terrified of butterflies.

That's right. Butterflies. They just freak me out, coming towards you, like some fluttery little machine of terror.

You can shut up, alright, shut right up.

That my upper torsos attachment to my spine will weaken enough that it falls off. It is not a fear so much as a recurring fantasy but it is still freaky.

Actually, I don't have any irrational or wierd fears. Not of anything realistic, anyway. The thought of the world actually ending scares the shit out of me, probably because I haven't had long enough to live, but I consider that an unrealistic thing to be afraid of since the chances of it happening are so low (hopefully). I am somewhat afraid of spiders, but I don't consider that wierd or embarrasing since most people are. It's not that bad a fear either, doesn't stop me from killing them.

And, being 15, I have a fear of talking to/interacting with beautiful women...well, most women... but since that's probably only temporary and it's not particularly bad for my age either, I don't consider that serious either.

Heh, I feel better about myself now.
