The fear of people finding out about my complete and total obsession with Japanese manga/anime, For some reason in really ashamed of it and instinctively tab it down when someone enters my room.

Not sure if it is actually a fear, but I cringe every time I see someone crack their neck (Does it even make you feel better?). Kinda reminds me of neck snapping scenes from Steven Seagal movies lol

Ever since L4D, the sound of someone weeping while in a dark area. Fear is doubled if I have a flashlight on me.

I've also had the occasional unease of believing my characters (in the stories I write) manifest themselves in the real world. Considering that I made a villain that murdered his family at the age of eight two weeks before this happened [http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/11/10/child.charged.arizona.killing.ap/], I'm starting to take it a little more seriously.

Also, shadow people. Mainly because most folks don't know what the fuck I'm talking about when I say that.

I'm deathly afraid of elevators. To the point where I'd rather take the stairs up ten floors than ride in one. I get odd looks when I go to the stairway and I'm on the tenth floor of a building.
I worked in a hotel for a while, and while doing a roomservice once, the elevator free-fell with me in it for 10 out of 11 floors.

Also, I'm afraid of whales.

Another weird one is that I live in a constant fear of my glasses just exploding sending tons of sharp glass into my eyeballs.
Used to wear glasses when I was like 8, and was playing baseball once. Got hit with a ball in the eye, the glasses shattered. I got glass embedded all around my eye, but nothing actually got in the eyeball. I'm a lucky fuck.

Ehhrmm.. How often is this happening to you..?

Just sounds like you have some unwholesome extracurriculum activities going on, that's all...

I absolutely cannot stand strong winds, to the point where I've practically had a nervous breakdown or two over it. I am also a complete wimp when it comes to insects, and especially during the summer will jump and flinch at anything that touches me, but that seems a bit less uncommon.

I live in constant fear of a guitar string snapping and taking my eye ever since my freind told me it's what happened to his guitar teacher. it could be bullshit, but i may never know
That actually happened to my grandfather.

I'm afraid of touching bugs. I have no problem being around bugs, but touching them gives me the creeps.
Yeah it's the same for me, I think a lot of insects look really cool but I'd never touch one.

My worst fear is dogs, I've been scared shitless of them for as long as I can remember. I am getting better, when I was younger if I saw someone with a dog I'd cross the street or even just turn around and walk the way I was coming from just to avoid them, now I just shake a little bit and feel really sick when it happens because it's just so rooted into my brain that dogs are scary. Even though they're clearly not.

Eh, that one was just a bit of humor. The second one's more of an odd coincidence. The third one's real, though.
