Oddly enough, one of my scariest recurring nightmares (I haven't gotten it in years but I remember it from childhood because it was so scary) is that I'd be walking down a staircase. As the time came to turn for the next level I'd look up, and see two 'twins' who looked exactly the same, except one was taller than the other, with blank faces, just standing there. I'd walk faster, reach the turn, look up, and they'd be there. I'd run, look up, and there they'd be. It always freaked me out because somehow they would keep up without ever moving.Eternal_Rapture said:My most embarrassing fear is I'm afraid someone is always going to start following me when I walk up the stairs at night. I don't know why but because of it i have to take off running up the stairs, fallen face first a few times.
My most embarrassing fear is bugging out over being the vicinity of fast, small animals, or slow, lumbering large ones: I hate insects and little lizards because they squirm and sprint with their grotesque little quick jerks, while I'm totally cool with lobsters or spiders that move in elegant, slow manner. Also, every time I'm in deep water I imagine a giant squid or blue whale somewhere near in the water, just swimming on by and I make a beeline for dry land.
